The above post is the exact example of what the video is warning you about. Don't listen to people that have never done or succeeded at what they are writing about.
Listen to people who have the success you want to have. Don't ask your lawyer, doctor, mechanic or anyone else about a company, opportunity or industry unless the are having success in that particular industry. They are NOT QUALIFIED to give you any kind of counsel on that industry or business because they do not know how to be successful at it themselves. If they have tried and failed then listen to the verbage that they use it will be riddled with negativity. Just like above. Off the bat he says "avoid any mlm business that pays commissions for recruiting new distributors" He gives no additional information on this because there is no good reason why someone should not be compensated for bringing in new business and new business partners. What about traditional businesses that pay temp agencies to find, recruit and bring in new employees? How about college recruiters or head hunters? That get paid to go out and find talented, motivated people to help them grow or make their schools more successful. Should you not work for those companies or go to those schools either? I mean the recruiters are making money from their efforts. Rediculous isn't it?
This is a classic example of someone who does not want you to succeed at an industry that he has failed at because it makes him feel inadequate. Go back and watch the video again, listen to the verbage of the above "author" see where he fits in, and then judge for yourself the type of person that is "trying to save you". Then call someone who has the success and lifestyle that you want.
