Although I'm not a Muslim anymore I still love the fact it was an enriching part of my life having come up in an American ghetto as an oppressed African American. Much of my life was spent in the streets but when I gave my life over to God I found Islam was strong enough to express how I felt inside about a country that never gave a damn about a Blackman. Although I didn't join this religion to be a hater of whites or an unpatriotic person and soon I found myself at odds with it's political obsession and race and less focus on spirituality and principle. As a Nation of Islam member I benefited greatly from it's discipline so I am the last one to say it should end. But I think that it's a great starting point for so many of us whom come from broken homes and lack structure and purpose for our lives. With that said I like to think Wallace Deen Muhammad was a great part of that maturing process because he took his father's teachings one step further. By getting rid of the false pimp fantasy teachings within the framework of the N.O.I belief system he allowed us to study more accurate details of Islamic history. Like inspiring us to look deeper into facts and dispelling the myths, lies and fantastic stories his father Elijah Muhammad taught in books like Message to the Blackman and The Fall of America. Wallace woke up alot of us and made us began to question the teachings and also the leadership who made a living pimping the people. You know what? We should always question and that is question everything because no matter the source much of what we have been told is a lie. Sometimes the source is a well intended person or persons but they may have been swindled as well. So Wallace in my opinion was a light from heaven bringing us out of a dark cave. So I still find opposition to his life's work and although I don't agree with everything Wallace did I think he was on the right path. That is Wallace only wanted to serve Allah or God and that is should be the true aim of all religion. People defame Wallace now and call him a double hypocrite but it was Wallace who woke up Malcolm X to his father's hypocrisy and to the crooked ministers like Farrakhan whom were bleeding Nation of Islam people's pockets dry. It was Wallace's example that made Malcolm X question his Islam and take the Hajj to Mecca. I'm not saying Wallace gave him the idea but Wallace inspired Malcolm X and was Malcolm's choice to take over the Nation in the event of Elijah Muhammad's death. So this little piece is from the heart and I would like to take it and open yours. With a question for many of you. How is it that in a room full of people Elijah Muhammad turned over the leadership to his son Wallace Deen Muhammad a so-called double hypocrite? I have yet to hear a Minister Farrakhan explaination for this that isn't revolving around tricky rhetoric and the smoke screen of scripture. We all saw the movie, "Gladitor" when Marcus Aralis turned over the throne of Rome to his top general as opposed to his corrupted unfit son. No where in history has a dying man turned over his legacy to one destined to destroy it. If Farrakhan can twist your mind to make you believe that is what happened that Elijah Muhammad turned over the Nation of Islam to his double hypocrite son as a part of Allah's supreme plan then that is the most bullsh!t I ever heard. Lol.

Rhetoric man. The historical definition of a hypocrite where those followers whom had turned traitors against Muhammad and contrived with others to kill him. This is why they were hated in the Holy Quran because they tried to stop others from following the Prophet by killing him. Now today people use hypocrite in the wrong way to condemn others like you are doing Wallace. Shame.

RHETORIC? What makes Brother Jamal's comment RHETORIC? What he quoted about Warith Deen is the TRUTH!!! Warith Deen was a traitor and was no friend of Black People! One can say a lot of words, but when you look at their actions, you get the truth of themselves. Warith Deen's father Elijah Muhammad shown where his heart was, with Black Man completely and their rise from the hells of North America! But Warith Deen and his Boss J. Edgar Hoover of the FBI, the one whom he was working for also have shown what they thought of Black People, J. Edgar Hoover wanted the Black Man and Woman as Slaves and Warith Deen wanted to be the HAIC (Head Asskisser In Charge). Under Elijah Muhammad one did not see the Black Man and Woman taught to carry gun and knives for each other, one did not see those taught by Elijah Muhammad trying their best to cheat and bull**** Black People. Elijah and his followers did everything they could to help get the Black Man/Blackwoman out of the mud that they were enjoying and were wallowing in like swine. Elijah Muhammad taught us "How To Eat To Live." Now take a look at Wallace's followers compared to Elijah's followers and Farrakhan's followers. The majority of Wallace's followers are so huge they would make Richard Simmons say "Damn!" upon looking at them. Wallace's follower's are eating all the wrong food and looking like the most filthy people on earth, even more than the rotten slavemaster. Anyone saying anything good about Warith Deen Mohammad shows that they must agree with white folks that we all should be slaves, for Warith was a two for nickel hypocrite if there ever was one!

Nonsense. You haven't proved anything in your statement that Wallace worked for the F.B.I or J. Edgar Hoover. Wallace grew up in a very powerful Black family and had money and wealth he didn't feel no insecurity as you and I might from experiencing poverty or lack of. Wallace never believe that cockdoodle story about Master Fard Muhammad a white man being Allah. You speak of bowing to Whites but what is it when your image of God the Supreme Being Allah is a white man? And that Elijah Muhammad who had to sleep with little girls at an old age to pass on his seeds was a prophet? How do you explain that? How do explain how Elijah gave the power over to his son Wallace whom said his father did so to ween the Nation Of Islam and all his followers off of the foolish teachings he gave them for 40 years?

Hello Mr. Washington, I have not heard from you in some time until now. How are you doing? Anyway, you have eyes and you can see. So, I am telling you now as I told you before Black Americans are going to inherit a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders to pursue life, liberty, happiness and prosperity in our own way. Everything I say is new and it goes along with who we are as Black Americans. Black Americans are a new breed or race of people that has emerged out of the ashes of slavery. Our homeland is a portion of this continent since we never existed anywhere else in this world, am I right. I am the way, and besides me, there is no other way that Black Americans could ever become a real people in this world, am I right. Could you not see that you have awoken from Elijah’s teachings but Siebra and many others have not, am I right? In addition, Wallace Deen Muhammad as right as he did not believe his father’s nonsense he was still wrong to lead Black Americans into orthodox Islam or any form thereof, am I right. Wallace Deen Mohammed did not know any better since he was not God anointed one. Since Black Americans are a new breed or race of people, everything for us will be new. Our religion will be new. Our prophet will be one from among our own kinds. Our religious book is forthcoming. Do you understand the things that I am saying? Tell me what you think.

Brother John, based on the different comments coming from you it appears you are either: A. as mentally ill as Harry Watley or B. addicted to the Mad Dog 20/20. First of all let me make it clear for the ones like you who need to do your homework. Elijah Muhammad assisted with the elevation of a people's thinking to do for self and what needs to be done for self. It's written in scripture that God helps those who helps themselves. So if you meet God right now, what could he help you with, NOTHING, because you are doing no more than talking. Lets see if God will waste his time helping you with that. Secondly, and most importantly, if it wasn't for folk like Elijah Muhamad helping to build the Nation Of Islam and submitting to the idea of a free, knowledgeable blackman/woman, there would be no NAACP, no Color of Change, no ACLU, no Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, no Black Panther Party and so forth and so on. You are so so lucky I am not the administrator of this forum otherwise I will no doubt tear your blog to pieces. You are just like the average Blackman, calling yourself a revolutionary and posting gossip on top of gossip about our Black Leaders but have nothing to bring to the table but face and ass. You are acting no different from the Boondocks Uncle Ruckus. The things you post here do not add up, if I were you I would be ashamed to write it. And you are from Oakland (home of Huey Newton, Bobby Seal and Oscar Grant too) so you should be twice as ashamed. Brother you are silly as hell. You need to SIT DOWN!!! Just silly as hell...silly as hell.

You're saying that Elijah Muhammad invented Black struggle? By suggesting there would be no NAACP which existed before the N.O.I or theyr wouldn't be other black organizations for our freedom? You're crazy not me. That kind of arrogant approach is what makes the foolish religion of Elijah Muhammad just as rejected as the slave Christianity too much pride. You can't lay claim to every Black person struggling as a product of Muhammad. It's natural that we struggle when we are oppressed and it's will come a time when those whom struggle will naturally organize their efforts. You're limited in your view and you have no refuted the sound fact that is was Elijah Muhammad himself in a room full of people whom choose Wallace Deen Muhammad to lead the Nation after his death. Now Elijah Muhammad knew his son's disdain for his teachings and Wallace says he wanted him to destroy those teachings from the hearts of the people. Now Elijah Muhammad had other children whom believed strongly in the teachings entirely and he could have choose them but instead Elijah choose Wallace over them. Elijah Muhammad also had great ministers whom were ready to take the lead but instead he choose Wallace Deen Muhammad who Elijah knew didn't believe one ounce of the teachings. If you can't explain that one without smoke screen scripture and rhetoric then you're the one who is crazy.

Well, if Elijah Muhammad was as bad as what you say he was, where is (are) your mosque(s)? What difference does it make whether or not he had children by his secretaries or not? Doesn't matter, his works still warrant respect! The Nation Of Islam has mosques, farmland, bakeries, restaurants, schools established throughout North America. I bet you haven't even produced one of these items that I have listed. Again, like I said, it's always the so-called brothers who DON'T produce nothing that always, always, always want to slam the real brothers that DO produce. Silly indeed.

Hello Siebra, Mr. Washington’s question is why did Elijah in a room full of people handed over the rein of the NOI to Wallace Deen Muhammad and not Mr. Farrakhan? Remember that Farrakhan broke away from Wallace Muhammad and not the other way around to start his own organization. Black Christian churches usually breaks away from the main church when there is a rebel pastor who wants to do his own thing. This type of behavior is common to the Negroes, am I right. In other words, if you love and respect Elijah Muhammad you would also respect his decision to hand over rein to Wallace D. Muhammad. So why are you following the rebel Mr. Farrakhan and still holding dear to Elijah? Something seems to be wrong in your head, mentally speaking, would you agree with me? So again, Mr. Washington is asking you why Elijah in a room felled of people handed over the NOI to Wallace Deen Muhammad. You are not definitively answering the question and to be frank with you I would like to know your answer as well. Okay.

They don't want to deal with the question Harry because there's no answer they can justify why Min. Farrakhan lied to them about why he broke away from Wallace whom was commissioned by his father Elijah Muhammad to do away with those foolish pimp teachings he spent his whole life teaching to Black Americans.
