To make a very long story short, the reason why the stone worshippers circle 7 times ( in a counter clockwise position) around the building has to do with the story of Abraham's wife Hajar (excuse the spelling) running between 2 hills 7 times to find water for her crying baby. So during the stone worship everyone who takes part in it are supposed to run between two hills seven times.

My only purpose is to learn all that I can...I do so enjoy studying any and all religions...it is not my duty nor desire to make choices for anyone but my self...if a religion works for that individual then It is my belief that that is the right and correct religion for that person...
S.J. when "I" speak about me I never even use the word religion as this sort of acts like a signal to bring the mine is the best, the only, the correct, ect. and, this gets me,( us only) right into the robert trap of negativity...
the same old I know what is best for you so allow me to live your life after I put a value on you of my invention which makes one an object and not human...
I don't take any thing personal from the roberts of the world as it is subjective and not logical at all...when "I" believe "I" am taking things personal "I" leave the site altogether...
