This is Issue No. 55
Well it's finally arrived the month of April and with it comes me, Yo' Little Southern Bell MIISRAEL. Of course you should of already known that!...Anyway, I am a Southern Belle and right here in the Memphis, Tennessee we are celebrating our Annual Africa in April Festival. It's been 25 years and I remember going to the very first one! I tell you it has really turned into one of Memphis' largest festival other than Memphis is May. I always go and when I do I buy a sovenir of some kind, but mostly of the jewerly kind.... So are you ready to "vayage" wit me? We'll also go to some other festivals around town it's proving to be a great stay and a super fun adventure of reading right here in where you are now...You know it!...

Be ready to eat! Crawfish will be on every dish at this festival. But you'll git to wander around with some other venders near bouts. There'll be live music stringing out at yo' fish'n rod. And all don't forgit this benefit is for those wit "The Alzheimer's Association." I just didn't wanna forgit dat my own self. Pull them craw fish apart and buy yo'selves something. I don't thank they'd want you to forgit and leaves yo' money at home!....
LOOK.. a here!...Eric brought all his fishin tackle to catch some CRAWfish...
I forgets that I didn't send him his Little Southern News in a while...So he has a pouch of worms in his pockets!.... and pointing hints at me this very minute!!! Du..ugh!

Wit a business luncheon, Then on the same day there's the unvieling of the Senagal's poster at the National Civil Rights Musuem downtown...at 6 p-9 p... There's be a reception too...

Saturday, April 16th It's Wellness & Community Day all day fro 8a-12p along with The Market Day too! You'll be shopping and doing a healthy check too! That's 2 ways to sen'a gal on the festivities!

Get a taste for the home grown as local farmers dish out some really fresh tasting food. lISTEN To music..and thar's food..Delicious and healthy fur you! You are adviced to come hungry! Gobble on corn on the cob, snap a few green beens and chew on some carrots...It's all earth produced and so down to earth! See the latest enviormental products and paint with yo' chaps! .. This festival is ecology in the bubble! ..or under the big tent! You'll enjoy every taste munching flavor! I'm sure there is a small fee...but you can have all you can eat! How murch? I keep telling you this is A Little Southern News...I don't everythang! But I'd like some green maters to take home and fry!
