FUEL SLUMPS GREW INTO FUEL MOUNTAINS AND HIGHER PRICES (180 hits)
YOUR NATIONAL NEWS
AUGUST 2012
20th Day

As summer is ending so is the lower fuel prices. Most states across the U.S. have raised gas prices at the pump at least 4 cents after the 4th of July holiday was over. Starting back some fuel provider stations raised prices with 4 to 8 cents in less than a week. Labor Day forecasts that with such a 1 to 2 cents a day increase the price of fueling will be back at $4.00 a gallon in many states by the Labor Day Holiday weekend. Many consumers are looking at celebrating at home for Labor Day and with less road travel. Some of the price hikes of fuel prices is blamed on the California refinery which caught fire in July. Others may think its just the repeat return of price gauzing. Again, the object is to save money if you have to pay the price. Suggestions include car pooling, taking the bus, and making less travel by parking, walking and organizing daily computes with several tasks in place.
