I'm confused, can anyone tell me the purpose of this site, what it's about and what it's for? I joint the site because it said "Black In America" but it appears there's a lot more going on than being black and in America. Granted, I expect the subject matter and discussions to be across the board, and heated ones, but I am starting to sense another spirit and it has nothing to do with being Black in America, or does it? So, if anyone has an answer hip a brother. Peace, Hetep, etc.

Pure and simple James...there are members, who sole purpose is to create discord. I have been gone for over 2 years! I come back.... and encounter this cadre of members, although small, who have done nothing but attacked other members blogs, family...etc! I have posted blog(s) similar to this one...... so today, I decided to lay the gauntlet down. James, it has been less than 2 months since I've return... I left because of this sort lameness...but not this time.

No James, it has nothing to do with being Black in America. It does have to do with there being no Moderator. I've been on social media since the mid 90s and it is a general case. Pro/con about a Moderator. On the one hand the Moderator can sometimes impose order, but if so it becomes the arbitrary decision of the Moderator as to what is acceptable or not. I personally liked that there was no Moderator when I joined the site, and BTW, Earl was here before me. I will say there should be NO NEED for a Moderator.

Don't get me wrong, my concern has nothing to do with the shadow boxing, but profile tampering. I don't believe you need a monitor either, but profile tampering someone needs to be on top of that. There is a footprint? I received a couple of warnings about someone changing my profile...that seems so whack.

James, the first line of defense is a strong password. No one has tampered with my profile. I really think this is a basic security issue. And even with a strong password, you need to make sure your network is secure and that password can't be intercepted/retrieved by anyone.

This site is for us to learn from each other and seek solutions that address the challenges affecting our people.
Now there are some who are not interested in solutions; they are more interested in slack talk, lies and gossip, spamming the blogs with another person's personal profile info, playing the dozens, etc. etc. and these people know who they are and how they have contributed (and are STILL contributing)! It's a shame that it seems to be a divine "ass" whipping in order to bring us together to make a way for our future. Here we talk about nation-building and Black Power but we can’t even get along with our own Black people. People around the world frown on us and view us as a joke because of this.
Each one of you brothers and sisters are talented and brilliant but due to lack of discipline and self control divided we fall. The end result is lack of unity because everybody wants to be the "LEADER" and ego's are in the damn way. You all would be much more affected uniting and doing something for self than playing the dozens and seeing who can get one up on another. As long as you all are still playing the Whiteman is steady getting busy thinking of your and my destruction. Do we really need a "Who can prove another person to be a fake and fraud?" winner or do we need to push pass our egos, playing games and get to uniting and building for our and our children's and grandchildren's future?
So Jake, please reach out to Charmell, Truth B. Told, Kim, etc. etc. via Private Messaging, their guestbook or other means, and do whatever it takes to restore the constructive dialogue. In fact, let us all (myself included) do whatever it takes to add to the positive building on we can do. Let’s show our brothers and sisters that yes, we can work together with our brothers and sisters and share ideals that benefit the Black nation. We certainly don’t want to scare away the brothers and sisters who can benefit the Black nation. We’ve really got to get our "****" together if we ever hope to advance among the civilized nations of the world.

Yes, Harry and I met for breakfast. It’s a very small world especially when it comes to Blacks In America, there is less then 1 degree of separation. Although many may disagree, Harry (PH) has been solid in his position. His focus/mission is clear; there is no ambiguity in his words or intent. He represents Black In America CREED.
I say Black In America because that is the official name of the site. Now when you say African Americans the term is used interchangablily as it relates to identifying a group of people, whether it has to do with the culling of statistics or for marketing purposes. (See excerpt below) When say Black Americans, outside of the exceptions below we are actually referencing those whose ancestral line dates back to slavery here in America.
WHY DO WE USE THE TERM BLACK INSTEAD OF AFRICAN AMERICAN?
Although African Americans are the majority at 89 percent, the U.S. Black population is representative of the entire Black Diaspora, including Black Hispanics, Caribbean and African immigrants and those who identify as a combination of Black and another race.
Many Black Caribbean immigrants, along with Canadians or Europeans of African descent, feel excluded by the term “African American”—or believe that it does not accurately reflect their cultural background. In most cases, the use of either term is acceptable today and often used
interchangeably.

And as I recall, on the 2010 census on the race question, one of the choices was Black or African American or Negro. Their justification for the latter was that there are older African Americans that still describe themselves as such. True or not? Personally, I refused to answer the question. I don't consider myself White in America, and Caucasian is a most misleading term, because the earliest population in the Caucasus were African settlers.

The Original Black Cultures of Eastern Europe and Asia
Sometime about 45,000 B.C. The Great Glacial Ice Sheets that covered most of Europe started to melt and a group, or groups, of these Khoisan type peoples walked across the Gibraltar straits and entered Europe. This marks the first time in Human History that modern Humans have crossed over into the formally frozen wilderness of Europe. Once in Europe, Grimaldi Man continued his migrations, and came to eventually inhabit all of Europe and Northern Asia. The Easternmost limit of his range, appears to have been the settlement known as Mal'ta in Siberia Russia, just north of Mongolia.
As earlier stated, many Anthropologists, Researchers and Academics, still refuse to acknowledge that Africans were the first Human colonizers of Europe. To hide this fact, they prefer to use the terms Aurignacian and Gravettian cultures; which is fine, it still means Grimaldi. However, the current fad of attributing Grimaldi artifacts (such as the Cave paintings at Chauvet France, not far from where Grimaldi entered Europe; picture on the left), to the Humanoid Cro-Magnon is in all ways mystifying. Firstly, Cro-Magnon was not a "Fully Modern Human": Whites themselves describe Cro-Magnon as an "archaic" Human - meaning characteristic of an earlier or more primitive Human. (He was actually a later "Hybrid" Human: Modern man is much older than the Hybrids Cro-Magnon and Neanderthal).
So then, the White myth goes like this: The "Fully Modern Human" Grimaldi; enters Europe at about 45,000 B.C. He then sits around doing nothing for 10,000 years. Then at about 35,000 B.C, the "archaic" Humanoid Cro-Magnon enters Europe; he then immediately sets about creating the most magnificent art known to ancient man - all the while - "modern Man" Grimaldi (he's Black you know); sits around doing nothing. And it is from these magnificent Cro-Magnons, that White people later evolve. Wanting to be agreeable: Okay that could work - providing Cro-Magnons were "Idiot Savants" (a person affected with a mental disability - such as autism or mental retardation - who exhibits exceptional skill or brilliance in some limited field (such as art, mathematics or music). But of course, that still doesn't settle the racial issue: because thought different, Cro-Magnon like Grimaldi, was a Black African - and as we shall see, they didn't turn into "White Europeans" as some laughably suggest. But here is how White people handle that minor little detail - Note headline below.

These are the only races of men who practise circumcision, and these evidently practise it in the same manner as the Egyptians. Of the Egyptians themselves however and the Ethiopians, I am not able to say which learnt from the other, for undoubtedly it is a most ancient custom; but that the other nations learnt it by intercourse with the Egyptians, this among others is to me a strong proof, namely that those of the Phoenicians who have intercourse with Hellas cease to follow the example of the Egyptians in this matter, and do not circumcise their children.
105. Now let me tell another thing about the Colchians to show how they resemble the Egyptians:—they alone work flax in the same fashion as the Egyptians, and the two nations are like one another in their whole manner of living and also in their language: now the linen of Colchis is called by the Hellenes Sardonic, whereas that from Egypt is called Egyptian.

The CNN special with Soledad O'Brien was decent, as it begin to "peel back the skin of the onion". As I stated, for statistical purposes, census included, the reporting categories may have been broken-down to appease, but it is view and allocation decision are based on a consolidated perspective.

Herodotus cited a story told by Egyptian priests about a Pharaoh Sesostris, who once led an army northward through Syria and Turkey all the way to Colchis, westward across Southern Russia, and then south again through Romania, until he reached Bulgaria and the Eastern part of Greece. Sesostris then returned home the same way he came, leaving colonists behind at the Colchian river Phasis. Herodotus cautioned the reader that much of this story came second hand via Egyptian priests, but also noted that the Colchians were commonly known to be Egyptian colonists.[1]

Ethnicity comes from Greek ethnos, which is probably the word Herodotus used which is translated above as race (I say probably because I don't have the Greek text to compare). Ethnos simply means a people residing in a certain geographic area. So if we used the original meaning of the word, the ethnicity of us all would be American.

I don't disagree that you will find shades in every community, except for a very few. It is said in Brooklyn, every block has its own chemistry, that saying be applied to communities, within communities.
For the large part, communities are comprised base on ethnicity. There nothing wrong with it, people for the most part want to live around people of common backgrounds. New York is far from being integrated. Yes, we work in “somewhat” diverse companies, and I say somewhat, because there is a reason most Blacks work for the public (government) sector verses the private, and yes we all use mass transit. When its time to go home it’s a different story.
If you look at the recent gentrification, most of them are from parts of the world where moving into certain neighborhoods is a step up. Blacks/Latinos have always welcomed others into there communities, that’s not the case across the spectrum. It’s just a fact.

WOW, the report definitely confirms what I see with my own eyes, and anyone else who seeks truth.
It's like the disparity in MBE awarded contracts. So, the City/State commissions a study to determine what everyone already knows to the tune 2 million dollars. Once the study confirms what everyone already knows, it sits until its sunset date, which is about 5 years. Then they commission another study to repeat the process over again, however nothing is done at the City and State level to even the playing field, break the packages down so more companies can bid and have an opportunity, they keep them bundled so that it is out of reach. However, that’s another subject entirely.

I checked out the link that David provided. The web site is about the progress or no progress of integration depending on how you look at the report.
Any how the report doesn’t matter to us Black Americans because we are going to be sovereign free occupying the territory I mentioned that will become our own sovereign country.
The direction David mind is traveling is to nowhere. The direction Dr. King’s mind was in was to nowhere. The direction that Elijah Muhammad’s mind was in was to nowhere.
Mr. Farrakhan is hollering to our poor people to give him money for more farmland. Purchasing farmland from White America is not a substitute for sovereignty. And, therefore what Mr. Farrakhan is doing is taking us to nowhere.
Our only option and a permanent solution is that we become a sovereign people in a country of our own. And, it is going to happen in my life-time.

The thing about Harlem is it could be very beautiful. The Architecture buildings are wonderful, the wide streets, the sense of community. But the area was Always full of litter on the streets, sidewalks, everywhere. Really quite sad. When I lived there, every morning I would leave my apt and it looked like a storm came thru.and the 30th precinct located in upper west Harlem. It's crime rate to damn high it roughly equal to the notorious neighborhoods of the "Alamo precinct" (46th) of University Heights, Fordham, Tremont, and Morris Heights. Still not enough? Harlem was called the Heroin capital of NYC and as bad as Washington Heights in the 1980's, Fordham-Bedford. To top it off, it matches up with notorious drug neighborhoods of the south Bronx such as Highbridge and Concourse. It can also go head to head with Bushwick, which is about an infamous a neighborhood as you can find in Brooklyn.

Hello David,
Why I am Black America’s first genuine prophet are the things only a prophet could say. The things I say are what you are referring to as good points that I make especially concerning our sovereignty.
As a prophet you would expect me to say things far beyond the things Dr. King and Elijah Muhammad said and believed.
For example, Dr. King never preached that prophets are racially different and what it means.
Elijah Muhammad had no idea that prophets are racially different. If Elijah had that much common sense he would not have been following Prophet Mohammed because Prophet Mohammed was as Arab.
They did not know that for any people to be plugged into God they must claim a genuine prophet and that prophet must be of the same race and circumstances as his people are. Right away I can see that Dr. King and Elijah Muhammad were wrong from the top. So, how could they be right about anything else?
What Mr. Sanford had said that grabbed him was when I said the Black Americans are a new race of people and that we never existed anywhere in the world before plantation slavery in this country starting in the 1500’s.
What I said was something no one else had said and at the same time what I said is true.
The things I say are on the level of what a genuine prophet would say to us which fits into every corner of our situation and circumstances.
Mr. Sanford exhibited a high quality of intelligent to have embraced the things I say including me saying that I am truly Black America’s first genuine prophet. Remember that no one else have every said we are a new race of people. But, I said it!
I know the things I know because God is showing all these things and everything that I say the time will come that God will back it all up as God backed up all the things Moses said to the Children of Israel.
So, it is the good points I make that shows I am our prophet.

Black Americans are neither a product of Africa nor did Black Americans originated in Africa because there is no evidence of Black Americans existing in Africa before plantation slavery in this country.
The place that Black Americans existed in Africa is in the country of Liberia and that country was established after plantation slavery. Liberians are no longer full fledging Black Americans as we are today. God is with us and not those of us that went to Africa even though the Liberians are sovereign people.
Black Americans don’t look or have African features or African names. Black Americans are a new race of people born out of the ashes of plantation slavery. Black Americans are approximately 500 years old which is how long Black Americans have been in slavery and subjugation in White America. Black Americans were not born in Africa. Black Americans were all born on this continent.

A team of genealogists has discovered strong evidence that President Obama is the 11th great-grandson of America’s first documented African slave, Ancestry.com has announced.
Even more surprising, the family connection comes through Obama’s white mother, Stanley Ann Dunham, rather than his Kenyan father.
Ancestry.com said its team’s discovery that Dunham’s Virginia ancestors had actually descended from an African man prompted them to dig deeper into Obama’s African-American roots.
That man turned out to be John Punch, an indentured servant in Colonial Virginia who was enslaved for life in 1640 as a punishment for trying to escape. His life sentence marked the first documented case of African slavery - rather than indentured servitude - in the American colonies.
Ancestry.com said records suggest that Punch had children with a white woman, who inherited her free status. Some of their descendants passed as white, married into white families, and went on to be successful land owners in Virginia.
Eventually, that family produced Obama’s maternal grandmother, Madelyn Lee Payne, and then his mother.
Elizabeth Shown Mills, an expert in Southern genealogy, endorsed Ancestry.com’s conclusion, which was reached using records and DNA analysis.
“Genealogical research on individuals who lived hundreds of years ago can never definitively prove that one man fathered another, but this research meets the highest standards and can be offered with confidence,” she said in a statement.
Ancestry.com genealogists previously uncovered that Obama’s family tree has roots in both Ireland and Germany.

There was an article some years ago about a famous and wealthy woman who after her death it was reveal that she was black. I don't remember her name perhaps the story sounds familiar. The site's strongest proponent of sticking together seems to be the presumptive top blogger of the site. For instance, blogging about the glee at Trump's destruction. Lookiing back 12 years now it seems like the top believers of sticking together have always managed to maintain that dominant stereotype of sticking together. What do you think Robert, am I on the right track?
