Hundreds flu'ent with calls...
It's the Guys in Blue who has contracted a flu bug that's spread through out the Memphis Police Department. As of July 09, 2014 over 500 officers have called in sick. Not only does it places a strain on the Police Officers who showed up but this caused an effort to change sick leave procedures to be revised. Where officers could be out sick an unlimited numbers of days, now the changes may reflect only 3 days out; and if more than that a doctor's note will have to be presented before returning to work. The flu epidemic among the police department is prompted by so many officers with flu blues made it necessary to review sick procedures for City workers and the Mayor of Memphis A.C. Wharton has decided that some action of long term sick leave have some changes to be made.
However the blues of the flu is said to be aimed at increased health costs which prompted many of Blu Flu officers have called in. Recent overviews from the Mayor has made many budget cuts and even some decreases in policies one being that of health care. The Mayor insists that officers get a back to work immediately. Mayor Wharton appeared on WREG News to discuss the flu strike epidemic. This has Memphis has made a national attention. In addition, the Mayor is schedule a public meeting for Tuesday, July 15, 2014. As the pension woes grows Memphis being in the national attention with the Blu Flu has also spread to those working in the Memphis Fire Department. Over 60 firefighters called in on the same day of July 9, 2014. The Mayor has readily agreed to discuss some solutions to resolving pensions plans and has expressed once more He needs ideas if there are some feasible to work and get the budget and pensions for city workers workable for all city employees.
"Pensions has them with the Blu Flu...I wonder if it's catching nation wide in other cities?" That would definitely be "FLU' ent"!

An early morning fire around 12 a.m. caused a home struck by lightening to burn during a rainstorm. The home located in Cordova was lightening struck also spread slightly next door. Shelby County Firefighters were able to put the fire out and no one was hurt. However, only about an half hour later another fire started by lightening had them returning to the same area only a few miles away spraying out another fire. One of lightening struck homes was unoccupied. The blues came in a flu when thousands of Cordova's residents were without power for several hours. After all the blu strike, everyone was safe.
"That's flu'ent...Lightening had a blu strike of a time striking twice in the same neighborhood."
Speaking of the neighborhood...Blues flu in surfaces of throw away places...

Lake Cormorant, MS
Residents who once viewed a peaceful place in the town of Lake Cormorant no longer are happy to see a rubbish site where there was thriving trees and scenes of greenery. That's all due to a landfill dumping rubbish has made the ground polluted. After taking the complaint to the county reps of Lake Cormorant the council there voted 3 to 2 to have the site closed down. The Blu catch here is they have at least 5 more years before leaving the landfill. Residents of the small delta area has reported growth in housing and schools and feel that waiting will deter their growth, however the vote has decided the landfill has a little more time.
"They want that landfill to fly away like FLU!!"
"They'll have five more years of that flu'ent rubbish!"
It may be a flu'ent langggggaaaaa that's Blu Flu for land garbage! LOL!
Well, that's about as Blu as I can Flu'ent in this go around.
