Brace yourselves, people: Apparently there are a significant number of creepy clowns running around cemeteries at night and scaring people.
Recently, for example, Chicago native Julia Graham came across a disturbing clown eerily roaming around the historic Rosehill Cemetery in the dead of night:
CBS 2’s Dave Savini spoke with Graham, who filmed the nocturnal clown while driving past the cemetery with her husband around 10 pm:
“When we get closer, we realize it’s a clown, which is super weird.”
Graham’s husband then snapped a photo of the clown scaling the 7-foot gate:
Many of us might have driven off as fast as possible, but Graham and her husband stopped to get a closer look.
That’s when the clown reached peak creepiness and slowly waved at the couple:
When they shined the car’s headlights on the clown, it ran off into the darkness.
The couple wasn’t exactly happy:
“It’s creepy and wrong.”
Chicago police are saying this wasn’t the first creepy clown-spotting.
Who these people are, and why they’re doing this, is still unknown.
