DEAR GARDENERS

AUGUST ISSUE 2015

MAKING YOUR OWN GARDEN'S ALBUM

DEAR GARDENERS:

While I was out stirring around my plants and flowers, I got out the camera and began taking pictures of my summer's porch.  I do this each year and fondly over the years I've collected year after year a volume of photos of which I can look and share with relatives and friends.  Each year the same area takes on a different look.

With this somewhat very same idea, I now can put together my very own garden's album book and have it at my fingertips during the winter months.   I find too, that this will also increase creativity to try new arrangements and even add to improvements of landscaping for possible new areas to plant or unplant in the future.

The main point is looking at the possibilities I can have to explore the growth.   It's easy, it doesn't require a professional photographer, and just a little time to snap.  One can also initiate dates, seasons and time the photos were taken.   Even before something grows, you can take photographs of the initial planting and growing process.   Be liberal with adding family participates in your photos for lovely memories and shared work as well as enjoyment of your planting spaces.

Soon enough you'll be ready to compile your Garden's album for all to and enjoy.

Selecting your album can give you choices of making a home-made one on construction paper to buying one at your local department store. You can add stickers, quotes, or scriptures.  The album can reflect your personality and in addition, making your growing things another way to be pleasurable which you receive from making the earth show God's blessings in your growing things. Snap! time flies, I'll write next month.

Snapping Memories
