Paid Marketing Fellowship Opportunity for HBCU Grads! (32105 hits)


AdFellows Program - HBCUConnect.com has teamed up with several companies to provide this excellent 8-month fellowship opportunity for college graduates, alumni, and those looking to make a career change to the marketing industry!

The AdFellows program is your chance to start a career in marketing! During this immersive eight month fellowship, you will have the chance to see both marketing client and agency while touching four distinct areas of the integrated marketing team. Throughout all of it, you will be front and center, with hands-on activities that give you the opportunity to contribute your skillset and knowledge to begin a successful career in the brand marketing industry. These rolls will be based in NYC and NJ.

Complete rotations across top-tier agencies and Fortune 50 Brands including:
  • Verizon (client side)
  • McCann (creative)
  • Weber Shandwick (public relations)
  • Publicis Media
  • Momentum Worldwide (Experiential)
  • Rauxa (CRM)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
  • Gain an understanding of real-world marketing fundamentals and knowledge of daily business operations on agency and client sides of the marketing industry
  • Use your skills across high-visibility marketing related projects, meeting and presentations
  • Attend learning programs and training sessions led by industry experts
  • Participate in networking activities with other fellows, and industry professionals and business leaders
  • Manage projects independently in a challenging environment

QUALIFICATIONS

Ideally you’ll also have:
  • Demonstrated leadership roles/experience
  • Experience in community service
  • Strong communication skills
  • Previous internship or work experience
  • GPA of 3.0 or above
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint
