It's Time To Stand Up For Right

"Stand for something or you will fall for anything. Today's mighty oak is yesterday's nut that held its ground." - Rosa Parks

There was a time Afro-Americans were the moral compass of this country. Due to the insane system of slavery and oppression that ensnared our ancestors in a vicious environment that attempted to break their spirits and sap their will to resist, numerous ancestors stood up to urge their peers to struggle, resist and hold on for a better day.
In 1827 Freedom's Journal the first African American newspaper was started by Rev. Samuel E. Cornish the pastor of the African Presbyterian Church of New York and John Russwurm the first Black man in the US to receive a college degree. Their paper called for self-determination and freedom. The banner of their very first edition read, "We Wish to Plead Our Own Cause." In the first editorial they said, "We wish to plead our own cause. Too long have others spoken for us. Too long has the public been deceived by misrepresentations in things which concern us dearly ..." While the paper didn't last long due to lack of financial support, it was a seminal effort in self-determination and self expression.
David Walker was born in North Carolina around 1796 of an enslaved father and free mother; so he "enjoyed" free born status. His status as a free Black allowed Walker to gain an education. He subsequently moved to Massachusetts in 1825. There he became active in the abolition movement and the proprietor of a successful second hand shop that sold mostly sailors clothing and uniforms. In 1829 he wrote and published a radical call for the abolition of slavery entitled Walker's Appeal To The Slaves of The United States of America a detailed account of the status of enslaved people. In it Walker was implacable in his hatred of slavery. He vigorously denounced the forced ignorance and white religion slavery imposed upon his enslaved brethren. Walker was equally contemptuous of the colonization movement organized by prominent whites whose goal was to get free Blacks to immigrate back to Africa.
Walker urged enslaved Africans not to turn the other cheek but to use violence in their righteous quest for freedom. Walker's provocative pamphlet so unnerved white America a bounty of $500 dollars was placed on his head, $1,000 if he was captured alive. Walker was advised of this by friends who urged him to flee to Canada, but he refused. He was mysteriously found dead in 1830. Many suspected he had been poisoned but "official records" say his death was due to tuberculosis.
Throughout our sojourn in the wilderness of North America there have been countless courageous souls known and unknown who stood up for freedom, dignity and self-determination in small and large ways from one on one resistance to leading large scale rebellions and social movements. As this nation devolves into an oppressive police state very reminiscent of the constant monitoring by the Pattyrollers and militia during slavery, it is time for us to stand up and stand for something. It is time to reinsert the words struggle and liberation into our vocabulary and lexicon.
The voices of our ancestors, countless sheroes and heroes call out from the spirit realm to encourage us to stand for something meaningful and good. Mrs. Rosa Parks the courageous catalyst for the Montgomery Bus boycott once said, "Stand for something or you will fall for anything. Today's mighty oak is yesterday's nut that held its ground."
We can not afford to rest on our laurels or boast about our victories during the Civil Rights movement because many of those same victories are being undermined as we speak. Sadly there is no mass movement to address these issues or right these wrongs. It's time we stand up for freedom, human rights, economic justice, PEACE and well being for all humanity.

Mr. Stanton,

You urge us to Stand up for What Is Right! But, you won’t stand up for what is right.
You said this and I quote, “There was a time Afro- Americans were the moral compass up this country”.

I educated you when we first began to communicate with each other that Black Americans descendents of plantation slaves are not African people and that Black Americans are a new race of people born out of the ashes of plantation slavery when the White slave masters bread themselves with the first wave of their African slaves and continued to breed with their slaves for 300 years until Pres. Abraham Lincoln outlawed plantation slavery. But, the population up the slaves numbered over 20 million and by the sheer number of over 20 million means that the slaves were a new race of people that had not come from Africa!
But, you continue to refer to Black Americans as Afro Americans and won’t change your position, but you urge us to stand up for what is right. Well, I am leading the charge urging you to stand up for what is right and stop referring to Black Americans as Afro Americans.

You are a very hypocritical and no good man to urge us to stand up for what is right when you will not stand up for what is right and stop referring to Black Americans descendents of plantation slaves as Afro Americans.

An example of an Afro American is the African Nigerian community in Texas or the Ethiopian community in Minnesota. Those Americans are Afro Americans. Black Americans did not come from Africa as the Nigerians and the Ethiopians did. Black Americans came into existence on this continent primarily in the slave states of the South Eastern part of United States. You are a very stupid and ignorant man not to know these common facts. Your stupidity and ignorance by refusing to stand up for what is right and stop referring to Black Americans as Afro Americans.

Interesting. I keep wondering if the Democratic Party is really a friend to Black Americans.

Mr. Williams,

I assure you that neither the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party is friends of Black Americans descendents of plantation slaves. God through Christ Harry has revealed that Black Americans are soon to come into our own country that consists of seven former Confederate states that are being prepared for our occupancy. White America is removing statues of starch segregationists and relics of hard-core racism in Mississippi, South Carolina and other former Confederate slave states.

If you are a student of history you know the Democratic Party is not a friend of our people, neither is the Republican party. Ideally we should be self reliant but the white man has conditioned us not to trust each other, manipulated us to be disorganized and to think only in terms of and be dependent upon his system. If we must, we use their political system to get whatever we can locally without selling ourselves or our people out like other ethnic groups in the country do. Sadly we do not use the few things we control to better our lot to provide healthy food for our people, raise capital funds to build businesses to service our needs or link with Africans world wide.

Mr. Stanton,

You agree with me that neither the Democratic Party nor the Republican Party is friends of Black Americans and neither are they our enemies. Then you bump right into a tree when you said we should be self reliant but the White man has conditioned us not to trust each other.
The White man is on his way out of our lives since we now have our first genuine prophet, Christ Harry! It is my prophecy that Black Americans will become a sovereign people in a country consisting of seven former Confederate slave states; North Carolina, Tennessee, South Carolina, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia and Florida will become our own country before I pass away.

In the few years we knew each other apparently you have not understood anything I’ve been saying. You mentioned nothing about our race not African. After my meticulous explanation why Black Americans are not African people, but instead a new race of people.

Lastly, if you were as smart as you think you are you would know that self reliance is worthless if we don’t have our own country, idiot! Again, our only permanent solution is that we must desire in our hearts to become a sovereign people in our own country and God will do the rest. God sees what’s in our hearts/spirits! If you have no desire to become a sovereign people in a country of your own obviously it will not be in your heart. In that case you need to get your ass away from other Black Americans influencing them with your ignorance of constantly whining and complaining.

In my heart I desire that Black Americans descendents of plantation slaves become a sovereign people in a country of our own and God can see!

These words of wisdom "Stand for something or you will fall for anything. Today's mighty oak is yesterday's nut that held its ground." - Rosa Parks are words that should be explored in this blog and not sidetracked bringing the wealth of Rosa parks quote to be put in the background of this unrelated topic brought up by some false prophet.

Many of our ancestors stood up for their right to freedom so they're offspring may live a better life than they did, which is us today. In the body of this blog, I see great examples of our people who stood for something and did not just fall for this switch and bait BULL 💩 That is attempting to take over this blog.

Get back on topic Rosa Parks has something here!!!

Are you blind, stupid, ignorant or what? Can't you see that the false prophet was trying to hy-jack this very important blog? Let us get back to the topic and your sad attempt to divert this topic and alter my words, won't work.

All throughout this blog is giving examples of how our brothers and sisters our ancestors stood for something and that is a very Power message to bring forth for conversation in this blog.

Brother Junious Ricardo Stanton, if I am wrong to steer this conversation back to the subject of It's Time To Stand Up For Right then I apologize only to you.

To all,

I am happy to point out the divine way since I am our first anointed prophet, Christ Harry! You cannot STAND UP for RIGHT unless you know what RIGHT is. Dr. King thought he was RIGHT! Elijah Muhammad thought that the Arabian people’s Islamic religion is RIGHT! But, we see that they were wrong, but I Know what is RIGHT since I am our first prophet, Christ Harry.
Nowhere has anyone ever said that the only something that Miss Rosa Parks and the rest of you idiots can stand up for is our divine need to be a sovereign people in a country of our own like all people are!

Dr. King implemented what he thought was a solution to boycott the Bus co. The Bus co. was never the problem! The problem was always that Black Americans don’t have our own country, our own prophet, our own religion and our own scriptures!

But, now we have our own prophet Christ Harry leading us in the only right direction!

Black Americans get connected to the same God of the Jewish White Jesus and the Arabian Arab Mohammed through your prophet Christ Harry who is a Black American and a racial match!

Am I wrong!

Be happy to point out the divine way on your own blog False Prophet and stop trying to hi-jack this blog of Brother Junious Ricardo Stanton as he bring the conversation: "It's Time To Stand Up For Right."

Now let us here you wisdom on the subject of this blog because I know this can't be it. WOW!!!

Again, to all the Idiots!

Black Americans cannot stand up for what is RIGHT unless you know what is RIGHT in our circumstances and situation.
When you combine our circumstances and situation over the long haul and for hundreds of years the only RIGHT thing for Black Americans to stand up for is having our own country because that is our only permanent solution!

Not one of you idiots have ever come forth with a better permanent solution you dumb-ass holes and that is because none of you ass-holes know what RIGHT is!

Let us stop talking about standing up for Right unless you first state what is Right stupid idiots! What is Right? Our permanent solution is what is right and our permanent solution is the need to have our own country!

Hey False Prophet,

Stay on topic and stop this Hi-jacking of Brother Junious Ricardo Stanton blog and start your own, OH! that is right, when you do that, you can't get nobody to come and see what you have said. What a shame. Your permanent solution is sit down, shut-up and GTF out of the way with this BULL💩.

I am talking directly to you. Now, lets talk about the example of our Brothers and Sisters of our great history and learn the lessons from hat, so we as a people can be a stronger people now and in the near future. Here these words from the past: "Stand for something or you will fall for anything. Today's mighty oak is yesterday's nut that held its ground." - Rosa Parks

Did you know In 1827 Freedom's Journal the first African American newspaper was started by Rev. Samuel E. Cornish the pastor of the African Presbyterian Church of New York and John Russwurm the first Black man in the US to receive a college degree? Did you know that?

Learn from these examples because they blaze the trail for us to follow, to learn, to live, to grow.

The vitriol and venom that spews from some of the respondents is tragic and pathetic. It's one thing to disagree or have an opposing view but it's another to spew ignorance and personal attacks especially when you have done nothing to improve the lot or circumstances of our people. This demonstrates how much self-hatred and closed mindedness exists in our community.
I make it a practice not to engage in dialogue, personal attacks or to respond to people who have nothing practical to offer other than criticism. Criticism has it's place but we have to consider the source. If we are an intelligent people and most of us are, we do not need one person to tell us what the right thing to do is. Look at our history, many solutions have been offered including "having our own country". Many of t hose who offered them took major action unlike some who post here who have done nothing significant in their lives to ameliorate our situation.
Our challenge is to resist the evil this culture forces on the world in the name of capitalism, "democracy" freedom and progress. and find a way to bring sanity and peace to the planet. Rosa Parks was just one of many who stood up for right, who resisted US oppression and apartheid I used her quote because it is powerful and some of the readers may be familiar with who she was.
Thus far 175 people have visited this post, only a few have taken the time to respond and few of those have offered anything cogent or meaningful to the conversation. That is a sad commentary on, them, this site and us as a people.

I found this blog very interesting because I feel that is never too late to learn something about our great past and history. Many has come before us in their attempt to right the nations wrongs, to stand up for what is right or in the case of Rosa parks she sat down for what is right which brought about a successful boycott of The Montgomery Alabama mass transit system December 21, 1956.

This blog was too important to me to let it be hijacked, to be a place of senseless name calling, end it be used as a place for self- boasting. I like what we say on this blog, I learned something from this blog, and I grew a little bit from this blog so I pooped example of what Rosa parks said: "Stand for something or you will fall for anything. Today's mighty oak is yesterday's nut that held its ground." - Rosa Parks

Thank You Sister Rosa Parks your words of wisdom worked again. Thank You Brother Junious Ricardo Stanton for this post and continue to keep up the good work on black in America because from this blog I'm sure many of us grew a little bit more from these words.
