But in the case of both Chuck Todd and Sally Quinn, I'd say politics trumps religion.

The main point of this blog is how, Washington Post columnist and author Sally Quinn, how she turned from atheist into a believer. Steve, Chuck Todd had nothing to do with that.

That might have been the main point to you Ron. However, I answered the question posed by your blog title and you have not. I also commented on your video, how Sally Quinn and Chuck Todd quickly turned the subject of spirituality to politics, and used it merely as an opportunity to talk about their moral judgement of President Trump. This is the same way that you use religion to justify your political outrage by pretending it's moral outrage. THAT is the connection between religion and politics, the claim of moral superiority over your political opponents. It's insignificant whether Quinn is an atheist or a believer. She just thinks that moral superiority proves her political superiority. I say that is pure doodoo, whether a Republican does it or a Democrat.

Not so fast Steve, it would be only fair to ask you this question: "Did You completely view this video report?" If so, your first point was made mute: "That might have been the main point to you Ron." the subject of this interview was made solid by the introduction of Sally Quinn's book, STEVE, What was the name of that BOOK? As far as me answering the question posed by the title, I believe in a fruitful dialog which is the main purpose of this blog. Now as far as some perceived outrage on my part of the presidents acts, rest assured that I have kept my eye on his daily progress. Now back to this material of this blog.

How could I tell you about the conversation between Quinn and Todd if I didn't hear the conversation between Quinn and Todd? You make no sense Ron. I will now watch AGAIN and tell you exactly where they showed their hand.

"His ethics and morals and values are not what we normally accociate with our country." This is her first assertion of moral superiority over the President. Around minute 2.

"I do think there is a longing for something better than that." Again a moral judgement of superiority.

"The people that he appeals to by berating..." These are the "basket of deplorables" she means.

If that question made no sense, then why didn't you answer my question Steve? Steve, I don't believe you, you are going to skip right over the FACT where Sally Quinn mention's, almost one third of the country are call NONE'S. If you ask them their faith, religion, they will say "NONE' but all are spiritual, they are looking for spirituality and not finding what they need. Sally Quinn believes that people are more spiritual and people are looking for some kind of answers. That is not her showing, her moral superiority over the President. people are longing for that spiritual connection, given the atmosphere in this last election of the Trump' administration. Steve, Sally Quinn really believes that people are really looking for that! By the way Steve, Sally Quinn don't believe as Hilary Clinton, saying that the Trump supporters, Hilary called them the basket of deplorable's . She says that she don't agree with that. Now this is what I saw happening around the time frame of 2:00 minutes. Your anger blinds you to the FACTS around you Steve, just relax and view the world around you for what it is and not for what you want the world to be, to fit your narrow mindedness.

Your constant question "did you watch the video" was even more annoying when you asked this time " Did you watch the whole video." If I comment on your video it means I watched the video, the whole video. And in that whole video I saw nothing that answered the question directly, what is the connection between religion and politics. I got the answer to what is the connection for Sally Quinn and Chuck Todd. She's just another typical liberal Trump hater. Do you know anything about this woman Ron? She used to put hexes on people and believes three people she did it to, died as a result. She says she has many friends who have asked her to put one on President Trump. So much for her lofty spirituality, ethics and morality.
