Change Requires Change Agents: Start your Career at Achievement First (12567 hits)


Achievement First invites passionate current and future educators to join us for the 2019-20 school year. We’re looking for people who have incredibly high standards and who will do whatever it takes to work with amazing students in some of the best schools around, and to stop at nothing to help them achieve greatness. In addition to participating in weekly professional development and planning meetings, teachers receive consistent high-impact coaching and feedback from a school administrator or teacher-leader.

We currently have openings for several positions in all of our locations Brooklyn, NY; Providence, RI; Hartford, CT; Bridgeport, CT; New Haven, CT) including:
  • Elementary, Math, Science, ELA, and History teachers
  • Special Education Teachers
  • Electives Teachers
  • Teachers-in-Residence: A unique teaching opportunity designed for those who want a career in education, but have little to no education experience.
