Florida News and Culture / #PensacolaProject
by Black $yientology Ink - PRESS RELEASE
In an effort to increase the Muslim population in the city of Pensacola Florida which stands at about 2% out of an overall population of 313,500 people according to the 2017 census. The Online Church of Black $yientology is conducting a re-education experiment among the city's Facebook and Twitter users called - The Pensacola Project.
This project is designed to use the church as a catalyst to help popularize Muslims by showing the city and the nation as a whole that " Muslims Are Human Too ".
Although the church is not claiming to be affiliated with the Islamic faith, its founder King Nazir Muhammad feels a sense of duty to emancipate the stigmas associated with the Islamic name - Muhammad.
The church has stated that the mainstream media has dehumanized the Muslim image, which along with the events of 9/11 have created an un-relatable perception towards Muslims.
It is the church's intent to reverse this perception by showing Pensacola that Muslims are people that feel and experience American life and culture the same as anyone else. And many through the writings of the founder King Muhammad will discover that they have similar opinions about many of the ills of society and also many agreeable solutions as well.
Through this experiment it is the church's goal that Pensacola will fully embrace the 2% while welcoming the hoped for 75% of Muslims that will flock to a city that this church hopes will become a refuge from Islamophobia.
But the Question must be asked ….
Will #PensacolaProject become a Trending Topic ? Or has Islamophobia already prevented this project from becoming a success before it even begins ?
