During the Democratic presidential debate, Donald Trump Jr. retweeted to his millions of followers a critic of Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris, who took issue with her racial identity, before deleting the tweet. A spokesman for President Donald Trump's son told the New York Times that it was a misunderstanding.

Who brought up racial identity Ron?

If you saw this report, you would know who brought up racial identity Steven!!! Now go back and educate yourself because it is as plain as the nose on your face.

It wasn't Don Jr. Ron, it was you.

Where is your proof Steven that is was me, Who brought up racial identity in this report? Point that out in your next reply, can you do that?

You brought it up right here on BIA Ron, with this very "report". Pause your video at the beginning where it shows Don's tweet and you can see what he actually said.

The question I put be you Steven was this: Where is your proof Steven that is was me, Who brought up racial identity in this report? Point that out in your next reply, can you do that?

Just what I thought, you could not place me anywhere in this report, this is just more of your sad attempts at your brand of failed BULL💩 Steven. Once again, you have come to the strongest people, with the weakest of BULL💩.

Now, let us take a look at what Jr. Retweeted: "Donald Trump Jr. shared a racist tweet about Kamala Harris and then deleted it after it went viral, fanning the flames of a new 'birther' conspiracy."

Here's what Jr. retweeted STEVEN, " Kamala Harris is *not* an American Black. She is half Indian and half Jamaican.

I'm so sick of people robbing American Blacks (like myself) of our history. It's disgusting. Now using it for debate time at "

Trump Jr. later deleted his tweet. Harris' campaign compared the attack to the president's years-long attempts to discredit President Barack Obama with his "birther" conspiracy.

Donald Trump Jr., the president's eldest son and outspoken defender of his father, fanned the flames of a racist conspiracy by sharing a tweet falsely claiming that Sen. Kamala Harris isn't a black American. Now in the hell can he truthy make a statement like that? The apple really don't fall far from the tree, Now does STEVEN?

"This is the same type of racist attacks his father used to attack Barack Obama. It didn't work then and it won't work now, SORRY STEVEN.

As you can see, the damage has been done.

Is there a difference between an American black and a black American Ron?

Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 12:28AM
Steve Williams
The object of that tweet was not the issue between these to terms American Black and Black American but is Sen. Kamala Harris is an American or NOT and their is the racist connotations.

To answer your question STEVEN, Not really. The two terms Black American and African American are generally used to refer to people of color. For many years these words, Black American and African American, have been used interchangeably to refer to those who have black skin, ignoring any differences that could exist between the words.

Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 8:03AM
Deacon Ron Gray
Very few people have black skin Ron. Nobody has claimed that Harris is not an American. Don Jr.'s retweet implied the same definition of Black American that Harry uses, i.e. a descendent of American slaves, where by American is meant the United States of America. Harris appears to be a member of the African diaspora, of which African Americans are a part.

Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 8:28AM
Steve Williams
Jamaicans mainly have African ancestry, with significant European, Chinese, Indian, Lebanese, and mixed-race minorities. Due to a high rate of emigration for work since the 1960s, Jamaica has a large diaspora, particularly in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

YOUR COMMENT: Very few people have black skin Ron.

MY REPLY: Steven, open your eyes and you will see Black people that look White, Brown and Dark skin Black people in many parts of America.

YOUR COMMENT: Nobody has claimed that Harris is not an American.

MY REPLY: Here's what Jr. retweeted STEVEN, " Kamala Harris is *not* an American Black. She is half Indian and half Jamaican.

I'm so sick of people robbing American Blacks (like myself) of our history. It's disgusting. Now using it for debate time at "

By Jr. retweeting this BULL💩, he is saying that he agrees with this statement, let me highlight what Jr. retweeted, just in case you missed it: " Kamala Harris is *not* an American Black." is that NOT apart of this tweet Steven?

Kamala Harris was born in Oakland, California, on 20 October 1964, now Steven, the only way that Kamala Harris is not an American, if Oakland, California, is not apart of The United States of America, so you can STOP that LIE that Nobody has claimed that Harris is not an American, as is that same BULL💩 that the right came up with against Obama, that will not work here.

BOOM!!!! this BULL💩 has back fired in your face. Now go and don't you ever repeat that LIE again.

Thank You for trying to explain your short fall. LOL 😂!!!!

Ron, an American black is the same as a black American. Nobody said Kamala Harris is not an American. Don't be foolish.

Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 3:35PM
Steve Williams
Don’t you see this line “Kamala Harris is *not* an American“ in the tweet that Jr., Had the nerve to re-tweet Steven?

Do you see that line?

Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 4:20PM
Deacon Ron Gray
I don't see such a line. Maybe a bot would.

Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 4:30PM

Back to the subject. It was Kamala Harris herself, who identified her parents as Jamaican and Indian. Who made THAT into a "racial identity" Ron?

Reflections of a Jamaican Father

By

Donald J. Harris

As a child growing up in Jamaica, I often heard it said, by my parents and family friends: “memba whe yu cum fram”. To this day, I continue to retain the deep social awareness and strong sense of identity which that grassroots Jamaican philosophy fed in me. As a father, I naturally sought to develop the same sensibility in my two daughters. Born and bred in America, Kamala was the first in line to have it planted. Maya came two years later and had the advantage of an older sibling as mentor. It is for them to say truthfully now, not me, what if anything of value they carried from that early experience into adulthood. My one big regret is that they did not come to know very well the two most influential women in my life: “Miss Chrishy” and “Miss Iris” (as everybody called them). This is, in many ways, a story about these women and the heritage they gave us.

My roots go back, within my lifetime, to my paternal grandmother Miss Chrishy (née Christiana Brown, descendant of Hamilton Brown who is on record as plantation and slave owner and founder of Brown’s Town) and to my maternal grandmother Miss Iris (née Iris Finegan, farmer and educator, from Aenon Town and Inverness, ancestry unknown to me). The Harris name comes from my paternal grandfather Joseph Alexander Harris, land-owner and agricultural ‘produce’ exporter (mostly pimento or all-spice), who died in 1939 one year after I was born and is buried in the church yard of the magnificent Anglican Church which Hamilton Brown built in Brown’s Town (and where, as a child, I learned the catechism, was baptized and confirmed, and served as an acolyte).

In her memoir “The Truths We Hold: An American Journey,” California Sen. Kamala Devi Harris touches upon her personal journey — growing up in Oakland as the daughter of Jamaican and Indian immigrants, as well as about rising through the ranks to become the District Attorney of San Francisco and later the chief law enforcement officer of the state of California, before serving as a senator.

The book is being called a “soft launch” for her bid for the 2020 presidential race. She doesn’t mince words as she shows her disdain for the policies of President Donald Trump. Neither does she shy away from projecting her as a progressive and a champion for everyday Americans.

But what remains a constant strain throughout the book is the influence her mother, Shyamala Gopalan Harris, has had on Harris, her thought process and in shaping her career and her ideals.

Nice try STEVEN but let's get back on topic with the information contained in this video report of Jr., retweeting racist BULL 💩 and the questions that you have not answered yet, WHY?

YOUR COMMENT: I don't see such a line.

MY REPLY: What are you talking about now, You don't see what line?

YOUR COMMENT: It was Kamala Harris herself, who identified her parents as Jamaican and Indian.

MY REPLY: Point out in this report where you seen Kamala Harris said those words Steven? " It was Kamala Harris herself, who identified her parents as Jamaican and Indian."

I 'am still standing by.

Deacon Ron Gray
Do you see the line, "Black. She is half Indian and half Jamaican." Ron?

Wednesday, July 3rd 2019 at 11:08PM
Steve Williams
Yes I see exactly what you are talking about STEVEN but that was not Kamala Harris who said those words.

Now do you see the line where Jr., the US president’s eldest son, retweeted and deleted a post on Thursday which falsely claimed that Kamala Harris is not “an American black, STEVEN?

Both of these lines came from this right-wing conspiracy accounts were quick to spread false information about her lineage and citizenship online that you are now defending that lie, why?

If you see this line: She is half Indian and half Jamaican STEVEN, you also see this line: " Kamala Harris is *not* an American Black." Now to say nothing to the fact that you don't see that line, is your denial of using the tools of the heathens because you can NOT prove a LIE and that is a FACT.

Thursday, July 4th 2019 at 7:37AM
Deacon Ron Gray
We almost agree Ron, I would just change one word. Instead of "claimed" it should be "questioned".

Don Jr. "...falsely QUESTIONED that Kamala Harris is not an American black".

Thursday, July 4th 2019 at 10:28AM
Steve Williams
So you do see that lie that falsely claimed that Kamala Harris is not “an American black, STEVEN?

Don't you understand that Jr., did not write that tweet?

Jr., retweeted that LIE, of the right wing conspiracy, so their is nothing to change, those are there words and not Jr's. What Jr., did was to promote that LIE and then deleted that LIE.

Thursday, July 4th 2019 at 11:04AM
Deacon Ron Gray
Don Jr. doesn't know that of course Kamala is an American black. So what Ron? He's no more ignorant on the subject of race than you are.

Thursday, July 4th 2019 at 11:50AM
Steve Williams
WTF are you talking about STEVEN. I do know that Kamala Harris is an American and that she was born in Oakland, California, on 20 October 1964,which makes Kamala Harris a American citizen and that Oakland, California is apart of The U.S. and the U.S. is apart of North America.

Also I do know not to RETWEET some BULL💩 right wing conspiracy propaganda or try to defend it, like you did for the better part of this blog, that I do know, STEVEN as you acted like you did not see the part that said " Kamala Harris is *not* an American Black."

I just wanted to see how long you was going to keep lying and the facts was right in front of your face. WOW!!! your creditability is at the lowest point ever, here on Black In America. WOW!!!

Do you care about that STEVEN?

Thursday, July 4th 2019 at 1:28PM
Deacon Ron Gray
So Ron, how does being born in Oakland of Jamaican and Indian parents make Kamala Harris an American black?

Friday, July 5th 2019 at 12:08AM
Steve Williams

Because she was born here in America and her Father's lineage.

Why do you think Jr., would retweet this right wing conspiracy propaganda, in the first place?

Friday, July 5th 2019 at 7:14PM
Deacon Ron Gray
Because Ron, 1) Kamala Harris and her father have made the campaign, from the beginning, about her RACIAL IDENTITY and 2) the lying media has made any question of her identity, a FALSE narrative of questioning her citizenship, a LIE that that is BIRTHERISM. That ultimate lie is because you think Obama 2.0 will succeed where Clinton 2.0 could not.

I asked you two questions Steven is this:

1. What color is Kamala Harris?

2. Is Kamala Harris a American?

On your next reply, answer those two questions Steven.

Friday, July 5th 2019 at 9:44PM
Deacon Ron Gray
1. Kamala Harris' color, to me Ron is unremarkable, a medium shade on the human scale from pale pink to dark brown. I'd say her color is a light medium or medium light brown.

2. Kamala Harris is obviously American. No one wants to see her birth certificate Ron.

Friday, July 5th 2019 at 11:46PM
Steve Williams
1. Here you hear what Kamala Harris she was in this video report?

2. Now this we can agree on Kamala Harris is American so, correct?

So, what Jr., retweeted of that right wing conspiracy propaganda, of Kamala Harris not being an American, that was a LIE, correct?

Saturday, July 6th 2019 at 9:13AM

Ms. Harris said she was not going to educate anyone on being black. I don't need to be educated on being black Ron. I already am.

MY REPLY: Don't get it twisted the point is that Jr., retweeted that " Kamala Harris is *not* an American Black."

YOUR COMMENT: Ms. Harris said she was not going to educate anyone on being black. I don't need to be educated on being black Ron. I already am.

MY REPLY: Then right after Kamala Harris said that, what race she was, "WHAT RACE WAS THAT SHE SAID, SHE WAS Steve ?"

That is a LIE Steve and you know it Steve. You don't have to LIE like that.

What did Democratic Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris say beginning at 1 minute and 29 seconds to 1 minute and 35 seconds in this report?

Monday, July 8th 2019 at 6:35PM
Deacon Ron Gray
She says she is black Ron. Black isn't a race. American is a race.

Monday, July 8th 2019 at 8:13PM

I see it now, you believe than America is a race, is that right?

Monday, July 8th 2019 at 9:12PM

America is a country Ron. Americans are the race that inhabit this country.

Monday, July 8th 2019 at 9:25PM

So, believe that America are one race of people, is that right? YES OR NO?

Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 10:43AM
Deacon Ron Gray
Americans are one race of people. YES. When Americans travel abroad they are recognized as Americans, regardless of their DNA heritage.

Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 10:59AM
Steve Williams
Being an America is a nationality and not a race of people Steve.

Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 2:15PM
Deacon Ron Gray
Nationality and race are synonyms Ron.

race (n.2)
"people of common descent," a word from the 16th century, from Middle French race, earlier razza "race, breed, lineage, family" (16c.), possibly from Italian razza, of unknown origin (cognate with Spanish and Portuguese raza). Etymologists say no connection with Latin radix "root," though they admit this might have influenced the "tribe, nation" sense.

Original senses in English included "wines with characteristic flavor" (1520), "group of people with common occupation" (c. 1500), and "generation" (1540s). Meaning "tribe, nation, or people regarded as of common stock" is by 1560s. Modern meaning of "one of the great divisions of mankind based on physical peculiarities" is from 1774 (though as OED points out, even among anthropologists there never has been an accepted classification of these).

This is no proof Steve, sorry.

Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 4:04PM
Deacon Ron Gray
I don't need PROOF Ron. According to MY understanding of the word race, and the fact that Kamala did't use the word race herself, I did NOT hear Kamala say her race is black.

Tuesday, July 9th 2019 at 4:28PM
Steve Williams
I see that you dropped that BULL💩 LIE that being American is one race of people. LOL!!!

The only reason why you did NOT hear Kamala say what her race, is because you did not go back and reviewing this report from 1 minute and 29 seconds to 1 minute and 35 seconds in this report.

Not go back and review this report from 1 minute and 29 seconds to 1 minute and 35 seconds in this report and tell me and the people on Black In America exactly what Democratic Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris said.

Wednesday, July 10th 2019 at 8:22AM
Deacon Ron Gray
She said she is BLACK Ron, She didn't say "my race is black". And I have not dropped anything. MY race is American and that's what I will put on the census.

Wednesday, July 10th 2019 at 10:44AM

That is not all Democratic Presidential Candidate Kamala Harris said beginning at 1 minute and 29 seconds to 1 minute and 35 seconds in this report?

I understand why you would hear race in those six seconds Ron.

Go ahead and tell us Ron. What did she say in those six seconds?

Friday, July 12th 2019 at 11:45PM

Stop BULL💩 and answer the question and stop protecting Jr's racist retweet because you know Jr's actions was wrong as hell, now don't you?
