New York Post Editorial Board: Biden campaign not denying Post report on Hunter profiting from Joe being VP (544 hits)

Notice that Joe Biden and his campaign aren’t disputing the basic facts The New York Post has uncovered about Hunter Biden’s cashing in on his dad’s high office.

The ex-veep called “a lid” for the day at 9:41 a.m. Wednesday, indicating he’d make no more appearances. So reporters couldn’t push him about his past claims that he’d “never spoken to my son about his overseas business dealings” now that data from an old hard drive suggest that’s not so.

Emails reveal that Hunter introduced a top executive of Burisma, the Ukrainian natural gas firm on whose board he sat, to his dad while Joe was in the White House — and less than a year before the veep pushed the Ukrainian government into firing a prosecutor who was investigating Burisma.

TWITTER'S JACK DORSEY SAYS COMPANY BOTCHED BLOCKING NYP ARTICLE ON ALLEGED EMAILS ON HUNTER BIDEN'S LAPTOP

Vadym Pozharskyi, a top Burisma adviser, emailed Hunter in May 2014 asking for “advice on how you could use your influence” on the company’s behalf. Then he emailed a note of gratitude on April 17, 2015, a year after Hunter had been brought on with a salary reported to be $50,000 a month: “Dear Hunter, thank you for inviting me to DC and giving an opportunity to meet your father and spent [sic] some time together. It’s realty [sic] an honor and pleasure.”

Hunter didn’t resign from Burisma’s board until April 2019, the same month his dad announced his run for president.

Steve, here's the KEY sentence: Hunter didn’t resign from Burisma’s board until April 2019, the same month his dad announced his run for president.

Hunter Biden no longer is the story. Now Steve, let us take a look at Trumps children gains while their father is the President of the United States of America.

WASHINGTON — Eric Trump sounded shocked that Hunter Biden hadn’t drawn more criticism for his lucrative business deals in Ukraine and China while his father, Joe Biden, was vice president.
“Can you imagine if I took 3 cents from the Ukraine or 4 cents from China?” President Trump’s second-oldest son asked in a recent Fox Business appearance.

Eric Trump and his older brother, Donald Trump Jr., run the Trump Organization, which conducts business — and takes in tens of millions of dollars annually — around the globe and is still owned by the president. The company is forging ahead with projects in Ireland, India, Indonesia and Uruguay, and is licensing the Trump name in such turbulent areas as Turkey and the Philippines.

Their sister Ivanka is a senior advisor to the president. She kept her international fashion business going for 18 months after she was given a loosely defined White House portfolio that includes interacting with heads of state and working with domestic and international corporate chiefs on economic programs.

Time and again, Trump’s children have blurred the lines of family, nation and business — essentially the charge the president makes against the Bidens as he battles a House impeachment inquiry focused on whether he improperly pushed Ukraine to investigate his political rivals for what he claims were shady dealings.

Trump’s children “appear to people all over the world to be his bagmen,” said Richard Painter, who served as White House ethics czar under President George W. Bush. “This is the Trump business empire. It’s owned by Donald Trump, the president, and they are managing it for him and collecting business on his behalf.”

While Hunter Biden’s overseas deals may have embarrassed his father, now a Democratic presidential candidate, no evidence has emerged to suggest wrongdoing by the former vice president.

Now you want to run like hell from me and the "TRUTH," to try to divert my question to talk about a tweet!!!

No Steve, that will not work here. No, not when I brought you these FACTS and place them right in front of you about the benefits of TRUMPS children are receiving from foreign countries while their father is President of The United States of America. WOW!!!!

You do see these two paragraph don't you? What information is these two paragraphs telling you?

My question to you was about these two question:

Time and again, Trump’s children have blurred the lines of family, nation and business — essentially the charge the president makes against the Bidens as he battles a House impeachment inquiry focused on whether he improperly pushed Ukraine to investigate his political rivals for what he claims were shady dealings.

Trump’s children “appear to people all over the world to be his bagmen,” said Richard Painter, who served as White House ethics czar under President George W. So that is why you want to divert this topic too and don't want to talk about profiteering of Trumps children while their father is president of The United States of America.

Steve Isn't that what you call being HYPOCRITICAL?

Ron, it's what I call staying on topic.

George Stephanopoulos is NOT the subject here but Trump children are

Steve, is this true about the children of Trump?

The subject is not Trump's children. George Stephanopoulos is DEFINITELY the subject this morning. Biden won't escape this story no matter how much the media try to prop him up.

Steve, Which story do you believe,

1. Time and again, Trump’s children have blurred the lines of family, nation and business — essentially the charge the president makes against the Bidens as he battles a House impeachment inquiry focused on whether he improperly pushed Ukraine to investigate his political rivals for what he claims were shady dealings.

Or

2. Trump’s children “appear to people all over the world to be his bagmen,” said Richard Painter, who served as White House ethics czar under President George W. Bush. “This is the Trump business empire. It’s owned by Donald Trump, the president, and they are managing it for him and collecting business on his behalf.”

Which one Steve?

Emails: Hunter Biden Strives for ‘Lasting and Lucrative Arrangement’ with Chinese Nationals

In the latest cache, one email appears to outline a “provisional agreement” where 80 percent of the “equity” would be shared equally among four people whose initials related to Hunter and three other recipients.

James Gilliar sent the email from consulting firm J2cR, saying: “I am happy to raise any detail with Zang if there is shortfalls?”

Zang appears to be a reference to Zang Jian Jun who was the former executive director of CEFC.

In another 2017 email, Biden reportedly discussed a deal with Ye Jianming, a since-vanished chairman of CEFC.

He also sought to make clear his efforts should not go unrewarded, saying:

“Consulting fees is one piece of our income stream but the reason this proposal by the chairman was so much more interesting to me and my family is that we would also be partners inn [sic] the equity and profits of the JV’s [joint venture’s] investments.”

Hey Steve, you do remember this, don't you: Trump's oldest son said a decade ago that a lot of the family's assets came from Russia, don't you?

A decade-old quote from Donald Trump Jr. resurfaced in a New York Times column over the weekend.

"In terms of high-end product influx into the US, Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets," Trump Jr. said during a conference in New York in 2008.

The comment has taken on new meaning amid the investigation into Russia's meddling in the 2016 US election and whether the Trump campaign colluded with Moscow.

A 2008 quote from President Donald Trump's eldest son about his family's assets resurfaced on Sunday in a New York Times op-ed article.

"In terms of high-end product influx into the US, Russians make up a pretty disproportionate cross-section of a lot of our assets," Donald Trump Jr. said at a New York real-estate conference that year. "Say, in Dubai, and certainly with our project in SoHo, and anywhere in New York. We see a lot of money pouring in from Russia."

Trump Jr.'s comment has taken on new meaning amid the investigation into Russia's meddling in the 2016 US election and whether the Trump campaign colluded with Moscow.

The op-ed article, by Thomas Friedman, tears into Trump and his response to Russia's election interference.

"President Trump is either totally compromised by the Russians or is a towering fool, or both, but either way he has shown himself unwilling or unable to defend America against a Russian campaign to divide and undermine our democracy," Friedman wrote.

ERIC TRUMP: “WE HAVE ALL THE FUNDING WE NEED OUT OF RUSSIA”
INVOLVING

According to a Boston radio interview with golf journalist James Dodson, Eric Trump tells Dodson that Trump golf courses heavily relied on funding from Russia. Eric Trump denies this allegation.

Though Trump has never succeeded in developing property in Russia, his company has benefited significantly from Russian money in the form of its clientele. For example, according to a Bloomberg investigation into Trump World Tower, which broke ground in 1998, “a third of units sold on floors 76 through 83 by 2004 involved people or limited liability companies connected to Russia and neighboring states.” Trump World Tower sales agent Debra Stotts told Bloomberg that they had “big buyers from Russia and Ukraine and Kazakhstan.” New York real estate broker Dolly Lenz sold “about 65 units in Trump World Tower […] to Russian buyers looking for real estate.” Lenz is quoted as saying “I had contacts in Moscow looking to invest in the United States […] what do you have to recommend?’ They all wanted to meet Donald. They became very friendly.” In 2002, “the push to sell units in Trump World to Russians expanded,” when Sotheby’s International Realty reportedly teams up with Kirsanova Realty, a Russian company.

“So when I got in the cart with Eric,” Dodson says, “as we were setting off, I said, ‘Eric, who’s funding? I know no banks—because of the recession, the Great Recession—have touched a golf course. You know, no one’s funding any kind of golf construction. It’s dead in the water the last four or five years.’ And this is what he said. He said, ‘Well, we don’t rely on American banks. We have all the funding we need out of Russia.’ I said, ‘Really?’ And he said, ‘Oh, yeah. We’ve got some guys that really, really love golf, and they’re really invested in our programs. We just go there all the time.’ Now that was three years ago, so it was pretty interesting.” --- ERIC TRUMP

Steve, this information is already out and The American people don't have to wait on drunk ass Giuliani to come from RUSSIA for a damn thing, when both of Trumps boys say that they gets their finances from Russia.

Bill Barr had this computer for sometimes now and Trump is holding the bag of nothing, Trump has NOTHING and is ready to FIRE Billy because Trump can't get the results he wants.

Steve, after all this time, drunk as Rudy Giuliani is now spreading tainted Russian propaganda about Hunter Biden which the FBI is calling that information a possible disinformation campaign.

When a New York tabloid published the alleged contents of a computer hard drive purporting to document the Ukrainian and Chinese business activities of Hunter Biden, the newspaper cast the information as a "smoking gun."

Enter the FBI.

Less than three weeks before one of the most contentious presidential campaigns in history, federal authorities are investigating whether the material supplied to the New York Post by Rudy Giuliani, President Donald Trump's personal lawyer, is part of a smoke bomb of disinformation pushed by Russia.

The inquiry, according to a person familiar with the matter, is at least in part, aimed at determining whether Russia has set its sights on a familiar target: Biden's father, Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

Steve, I want you to read this paragraph carefully because After months of investigation, two Republican-led Senate committees unveiled a report in September that found no evidence of wrongdoing or corrupt actions by the former vice president in connection with his son Hunter's business dealings in Ukraine.

TWO GOP COMMITTEES FOUND NO EVIDENCE OF "WRONG DOING or CORRUPTION BY HUNTER BIDEN."

Steve, this question about Hunter by, not one but TWO investigations and they found not a damn thing and now comes this last minute BULL 💩 in a last dish effort to try and safe in bid for a second term in office but that looks real dim with less then three weeks to the election.

The reason those people are there is they love the job I’ve done. In the end, that’s what it’s got to be about. But there’s a certain anger because there’s a lot of very unfairness going on here.

Joe Biden is a corrupt politician, and you people aren’t covering that, and that’s not fair.

Q Should the FBI be investigating Hunter Biden?

THE PRESIDENT: Yeah, the FBI should be investigating. I don’t know if they are or not, but they should be investigating him. And you’ll have to call Wray and ask him. But that is — and why did they have those — and did they have it? Did they have that laptop for a long time and not do anything with it?

And that’s a question the Washington Times is going to have to look into. But certainly, the FBI should be investigating it because, on its face, he’s guilt as can be. There is not even a question about it. On its face, he shouldn’t be allowed to run. So we’ll see how it goes.
