Not in your lifetime Mr. Robert Powell, Ms. Anita Hill is not qualified for the job. When Anita Hill accused then-Supreme Court nominee, Clarence Thomas of unwanted advances and lewd comments, when she worked for him, she says it changed "just about every aspect" of her life.
So Biden is looking at qualified Black Women nominees for the position.
President Joe Biden on Friday announced the nominations of three people for the Federal Reserve's Board of Governors, including Sarah Bloom Raskin, a former Fed and Treasury official, for the top regulatory slot and Lisa Cook, who would be the first Black woman to serve on the Fed's board.
Biden today just nominated Philip Jefferson, an economist, dean of faculty at Davidson College in North Carolina and a former Fed researcher. The three nominees, who will have to be confirmed by the Senate, would fill out the Fed's seven-member board.

The oft-forgotten Chase, in addition to being a signatory to the Declaration of Independence,
was a member of the Maryland General Assembly, a member of the Continental Congress and
the eighth justice to be appointed to the United States Supreme Court. Still, his résumé didn’t win him
many fans. The conservative mayor of Annapolis called him a “busy, restless incendiary,
a ringleader of mobs, a foul-mouthed and inflaming son of discord and faction,”
...Chase didn’t hold back against his critics either, calling them “despicable tools of power...”
His enemies included President Thomas Jefferson, who saw the judge as an extreme partisan,
with a biased attitude toward defense lawyers and jurors.
In 1804, nine years into Chase’s term on the court, Jefferson and his allies turned to what the only way
to force a justice out: impeachment...
we have become all too familiar with the process for impeaching a U.S. president.
Chase is a reminder..Constitution contains the same rules for impeaching judges as it does presidents.

First, that the committee investigate the charges and, second, that the charges remain confidential.

Republicans went after Hill with vengeance. Sen. Arlen Specter accused Hill of "flat-out perjury"
At another, he suggested her testimony was the "product of fantasy."
Sen. Orrin Hatch suggested that she got the idea for some of her charges from the movie The Exorcist.
Democrats were sometimes flat-footed in their attempts to show that Hill had no motive to lie.
"Are you a scorned woman. ... Are you a zealoting civil rights believer. ... Do you have a martyr complex?"
asked Democratic Sen. Howell Heflin of Alabama.
..Republicans like Hatch supported the FBI returning to its investigation and praised the committee's bipartisan
leadership. "They immediately ordered this FBI investigation, which was the very right thing to do "
..noting that Biden and the committee's ranking Republican Strom Thurmond
"did what every other chairman and ranking member have done in the past."
But having the FBI involved also frightened off some witnesses who were afraid that Thomas' supporters
on the committee would use raw data from the files to harm their reputations.
Oct. 14 at 2:03 a.m.: The hearing ends.
Oct. 15 at 6:03 p.m.: Thomas is confirmed 52-48, the narrowest margin in more than a century.
But female voters rebelled, ushering in what came to be known as "The Year of The Woman" in 1992.
Elected were four new female — and Democratic — members of the Senate, including Dianne Feinstein
