The U.S. Department of Education and U.S. Department of Justice invites you to join our National Stop Bullying webinar, Internet Safety: Combating Cyberbullying, s*xtortion, and Mental Health for Middle and High School Students.
Description:
Please join the U.S. Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Justice in a timely webinar focused on Cyberbullying, s*xtortion, and Mental Health. This webinar will give the audience an understanding of the evolving danger of financial s*xtortion of American teens, as well as share strategies to prevent and mitigate cyberbullying and the increasing mental health challenges that arises from these issues. At the end of the presentation and panel discussion, speakers will respond to questions from the audience.
Learning Objectives:
To provide an overview of financial s*xtortion and how it is impacting the mental health of our nation’s youth.
To provide strategies to prevent and mitigate cyberbullying for middle and high school students.
To address the mental health impact that students face from cyberbullying and highlight important strategies and recommendations to minimize these challenges.
To provide internet safety messaging for parents, teachers, administrators, community youth workers, and educational stakeholders nationwide to build protective factors for youth.
