Amid a global pandemic and the highest voter turnout in more than a century, the presidential race has ended with a victory for Joseph R. Biden Jr. with 306 electoral votes. Biden was put over the edge by Pennsylvania’s 20 electoral votes after the state was called on Nov. 7. Biden added later Arizona and Georgia, states that have not voted for a Democrat for president since Bill Clinton.
Follow the latest on Election 2020. By the time all races were called, Biden had received more than 78 million votes across the country — the most votes cast for any presidential candidate in history. That number is likely to grow as final counts come in from Democratic-leaning states, such as California and New York.

According to the Pennsylvania Election Returns' website, Biden received 1,995,691 mail-in votes to Trump's 595,538. Biden won the state and its 20 electoral votes with 50.1 percent of the vote to Trump's 48.84 percent.
Figure Biden got about a half-million real mail-in votes Ron, not 1,995,691. That's ridiculous.

In most states the winner of the local election, takes all.
Article II, section 1 of the Constitution and the 12th and 20th amendments are the primary sources of law governing the Electoral College and the counting of votes for the Presidency. Title 3, Chapter 1 of the U.S. Code fleshes out the details where the Constitution leaves room for additional regulation.
All one candidate needs to be President of The United States is only 270 candidate.
