Jeffery, I know you got a Tom & Jerry or Bugs Bunny vidoe similar to this. Dam they were hitting us on all levels of media, publications and networks with this type of stuff. Did the white supremacy movement or indoctrination, have any boundaries or shame? With all this bombarment of negative images we are here in 2008 on Black in America breaking these mental chains. God bless Black America, we have been through a lot.

They have definitely been putting us through the ringers. It pained me to watch the posted video because I didn't like how they portrayed us in both the illustrations and storyline. And you're right; Tom and Jerry and Bugs Bunny portrayed us in a similar light.
Earlier today, I was shopping at Wal-Mart with my son. I swooped over to the books and magazine stand to snatch up this month's issue of Ebony (with Michelle Obama on the cover) when I ran across a white Jesus doll. I picked it up, looked it over, and all I could do was shake my head. They, white Americans, break us down and then try to put their face on the God that we serve. This kind of things isn't new, but it's going to have growing repurcussions on the psyches of black children.

I know what your talking with the Jesus images. I grandmother in Georgia, always hang a picture of a white Jesus in the house. I always felt crazy about that even when I was young. Even I questioned to myself, my did she that depiction of Jesus in her house. I guess in my little weird way, I always had a bad feeling about church, maybe because of that picture, hanging in grandmother's house. Or it could be something else, I haven't quite figure out yet. :)
