Can someone please tell me what is wrong with the rationale of Black Americans? Posted on 07-03-2009

Hello,

Can someone please tell me what is wrong with the rationale of Black Americans?

Okay, let me explain myself. Black Americans know that they are a different people from other people in America including White people. Black Americans know that our history, beginning in slavery and now subjugated people in America is distinctly different from other people.

Now here is my point, I scan the blogs every now and then to understand the mentality of Black in America. What I see, is that we are forever complaining about our circumstances. I see bloggers reminiscing the past, I guess to keep us mindful of how far we have come.

However, when a permanent solution is offered that would resolve the problems, every one frowns their faces as if though they just smelled a pile of sh*t. The permanent solution of course is to become a sovereign people or have complete independence on a portion of this continent that we can call our very own country with borders.

Therefore, can somebody Black tell me what the heck is it that Black Americans wants, or do Black Americans have the intelligence to know what they want?

What say you? 0

I understand your point..and i feel i know where you want to go with this..
Personally, I think that many African Americans are Satisfied with living in this system as long as they get a fair or decent cut..Thinking of becoming  a sovereign nation is considered to Radical..lol
funny but not funny..but seriously....

Hello Krogersgroup,

Changing mindset is very difficult, but very necessary. If you consider me to be as Moses was to his people, then he had a very difficult task change in the mindset people, as well.

Perhaps we may get the opportunity to meet since I go to Brooklyn often.

When something difficult and permanently rewarding is at hand, as sovereignty for Black Americans is, you must do more than your best.

What say you?

We must love ourselves before we can love our people. we no longer have families that take care of each other. the black youth of today are only loyal to their so called friends in the street. When circumstances change black youth then revert back to their families, and unless you have serious  capital to fight for them, the cause is normally lost. So at that time the so called friends are no longer to be found. I have three black sons, one has been caught up in the system and the other two are doing as black men should do. But let me make this perfectly clear I love my children, It makes no difference to me they are mine and that is what love is. Our family motto is "we take care of our own". Sometimes we run into a brick wall and search for answers and find none. So my opinion is that we have to raise our children as we were raised. We had to earn the right to do the things that we wanted to do. Our parents did not cave in and buy two hundred dollar tennis shoes because we acted out. W e had to work for our own and we took care of what we earned. You can ask questions all day long, but i have yet to find anyone willing to speak up and out about our situations. There is always talk but i yet to see any action that we have come together as a people to take care of our own.

And may I add that there are some black genius' that are incarcerated. There are kids out here in the streets that have brains but no guidance. So we continue to think that we do not have the intelligence to compete in this world. I reject that staement. Question our situations and our people but to plant the idea that we do not have intelligence is ludicrous and it's exactly what some people want us to think and believe. I totally disagree with you on making that comment.

Just to respond to the concept of becoming a sovereign nation....become a sovereign nation of what??  Though the history of Black people in the questions is different, our culture has been formed based on a blend of our heritage and the europeans who brought many of us here and therefore I have a hard time believing that this sovereign nation would look much different from White America other than the color of the people within it.  We have become indoctrinated into the capitalism which by definition oppresses and subjugates a portion of society in order to make another portion rich except in many ways this system in fixed.  This sovereign nation, unless these people become truly become re-educated would only re-create this capitalistic society that would be solely socio-economic discrimination instead of a combo of race and class.  What we need to do is go back to our roots and reteach values and morals and re-create a community.  Once we rebuild a community where everyone is able to love one another whether relative or not, we can begin to break down the system that continues to keep Black people at the bottom.

Hello Mr. K,

Please understand me when I say this, you need to understand that your individual problems, especially with your son are the same problems we an entire people have toiled with for hundreds of years.

Our problems can only be resolve by an act of God and God have already gotten involved.

Our only permanent solution is our desire to become a sovereign people or have complete independence from White America on a portion of this continent that we could call our very own country with borders.

We need to deal with ourselves without any outside influences. In other words, we need to be taken out of White America’s environment. The same as you would do with an abuse child. The first thing that is done is to remove the child from the abusive environment that the child is in before the child could change.

The Hebrew people could never have done better for themselves until Moses removed them from Egypt, known as the great Exodus.

Our problem cannot be solved individually and must be solved collectively, and it will take an act of God to do it.

Lastly, this recent problem of Professor Gates and Sergeant Crowley is an expression for space. Black Americans must have our own space, and then we could better interact with our White relatives and other sovereign countries. When our sovereignty is accomplished, there will be no more problems as we have experienced them for hundreds of years.

White America must lead my people go, and only one entity, and one person could make this happen, and it is going to happen.

Right now, White Americans encompasses Black Americans, as you see the yellow yoke in the middle of the egg.

What say you?

Hello Ms. Rachel,

You said this in your profile, “I am concerned about Black America because there is entirely too much segregation amongst ourselves.”

I think it is more important to address your mindset than anything else is right now, as a means of making your road straight.

The first thing you must come to realize is that Black Americans are an entirely different race of people, than White Americans are.

In other words, as different a people as Chinese people are to Japanese people, Black Americans are too White Americans. As different a people as Bolivian people are to the people of Peru is as different as Black Americans are too White Americans.

When you understand this, I can move on with you to discuss the differences of segregation and sovereignty, since the two concepts are entirely different.

What say you?
