As a core member of the Sales Operations function the Specialist plays a pivotal role in ensuring that our sales orders are processed in a timely and efficient manner with 100% accuracy. In addition to core job responsibilities, this position also participates in high level projects, system testing, as well as program and process improvement. As a result this role performs a significant part in overall sales process.
Key Responsibilities
General
• Handle inbound and outbound calls from sales colleagues, business partner and
support colleagues
• Process end customer and partner orders/quotes
• Handle complex order processing issues and data entry projects with a technical or
product-related nature
• Lead and/or participate in various time-sensitive projects
• Perform well under pressure
• Ability to complete daily tasks/projects in a remote environment until further notice
• Ability to self-start
• Provide sales support and back-up assistance to colleagues as needed
Skills, know-how and experience:
Competencies, Skills & Knowledge
• Strong influencing skills being able to simply and clearly use customer needs to
influence stakeholders to ensure Sage meets its goals
• Strong knowledge of core technology – Fusion, Excel, Outlook, Smartsheet, Zuora
• Flexible and dynamic, able to demonstrate energy and agility in reacting to business
requirements.
• Good analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to bring together different
sources of information to present a simple view of the facts
• Customer Focus ability to understand the needs and priorities of customers and hold
a strong desire to exceed their expectations
• Clear commercial focus the ability to understand the impact of all actions on the
business
• Strong Interpersonal skills proven ability to understand and interpret other people’s
behavior, concerns and motives
• Team Orientated, driving personal goals and those of the wider sales operations
function are balanced to achieve the best business outcomes.
• Dealing with Ambiguity – being resilient in approach to be able to establish a clear
path of action having taken all available information into account.
