Job Description
Applied Behavior Analysis Program, Assistant Professor
The University of Saint Joseph is seeking a Tenure Track Assistant Professor in the Department of Counseling and Applied Behavioral Studies, effective August 2019. Teaching will include graduate courses in the MS in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program. Applicants should have an established or clearly defined research agenda to support the efforts of the ABA program.

Position Description

Job responsibilities include teaching a broad array of courses in ABA; supporting student research, including chairing thesis committees; scholarly research in field of specialty; developing grant opportunities; providing student advisement, and service activities for the University. Salary is commensurate with experience. Opportunities are available to collaborate with the Center for Applied Research and Education, a joint venture between the ABA program and the Gengras Center, a laboratory school on the campus of the University of Saint Joseph.

Required Skills/Qualifications

Doctorate (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Applied Behavior Analysis, or Psychology with a strong emphasis on Applied Behavior Analysis. Successful college teaching experience, applied/clinical experience, successful experience supervising student research projects, and be a Board Certified Behavior Analyst - Doctoral (BCBA-D) certification (or be eligible to sit for the BCBA exam) required.
