Wells Fargo Technology sets IT strategy; enhances the design, development, and operations of our systems; optimizes the Wells Fargo infrastructure footprint; provides information security; and enables continuous banking access through in-store, online, ATM, and other channels to Wells Fargo's more than 70 million global customers.

Digital Branch and ATM technology team (part of Consumer and Small Business Banking Technology) is responsible for building and maintaining all the software and hardware used at Wells Fargo physical locations including branches, banking centers and ATM locations. We are looking for a Senior Engineer who will function as a Release Technical Lead to join our team. This role will be a key contributer in leading the engineering team for delivery of quality software releases to production. The senior engineer will work with all scrum teams and ensure that all software quality standards and architectural patterns are met. The senior engineer will also conduct working sessions to resolve complex software development issues and will work as a SME on the banker platform.

Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

  • Deliver quality and issue / bug free releases on the banker platform to production
  • Monitor and prioritize all production issues and lead the team to find quick and timely resolution
  • Serve as a subject matter expert on Banker platform
  • Lead engineering forum with focus on engineering excellence and discussion on architecture, patterns and significant improvement opportunities on the platform
  • Lead continuous improvement in code quality and platform stability
  • Conduct 5 Why's for all issues across the platform

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of application development and implementation experience
  • 7+ years of experience working within an application development environment
  • 3 + years of project management experience working on application development projects
  • 4+ years of Agile experience
  • 3 + years of experience with Agile tools

Desired Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • A BS/BA degree or higher
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • 4+ years of JIRA experience
  • 4 + years of Confluence WikiD experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of project management principles: leading scale technology projects
  • 5+ years of experience leading multiple projects
  • Knowledge and understanding of design and development of modern web applications and mobile technologies
  • Knowledge and understanding of PAC2000
