Complete the filling of prescriptions in the High-Volume Pharmacy fulfillment center. This includes manual entry, repetitive picking, operating automated sorting and counting equipment, and verification. Essential Job FunctionsReplenish product for sorting and filling, process incoming ordersFill customer prescriptionsComply with local, state and federal regulations; report all illegal activity, including robbery, theft or fraudComply with and reinforce all sanitation and safety regulations/guidelines/procedures and programs according to company, local, state, and federal health code regulations; identify unsafe conditions and notify store managementProvide any additional health and wellness services allowed by state and other regulatory bodiesSupport non-dispensing services using various platforms, resources, and applicationsPerform post fill audits to verify prescription information matches computer recordsSupport the continued coaching and training of clerks and/or techniciansProvide a stellar customer experience while accurately and efficiently completing all steps of reception, data entry, adjudication, and product dispensing when requiredAssist pharmacist in all responsibilities except those that require a pharmacists professional judgementParticipate in the Quality Management Committee team functionsMaintain a current national and/or state registration, certification, or license depending on state requirementsUnderstand and adhere to Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) regulations and the companys policies regarding the sameSupport company health and wellness initiatives
Minimum Position Qualifications High School Diploma or GED Other: Must be 18 years of ageNationally Pharmacy CertifiedAbility to handle highly confidential informationMust be willing and able to adequately perform all essential job functions and tasks of a Pharmacy TechnicianWork in a fast-paced environment
