Director, Marketing Measurements & Insights

you will integrate marketing performance data, consumer research, and analytics to
help the marketing organization make smarter, more informed decisions. You love to
pull insights out of data and then turn those insights into action; you have a track record
of working closely with performance, creative, and media teams to deliver results. You
are well versed in MarTech tools and have a vision for developing measurement
strategies and business KPIs. You’re not afraid to roll up your sleeves as an individual
contributor but have an eye towards building a world-class marketing insights function.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Drive a holistic view of the consumer & marketplace: deliver actionable consumer
insights including market sizing, segmentation, research and player value
analysis in a regular reporting rhythm to key executives within target business
areas, product, marketing, and partners.
• Develop a comprehensive marketing measurement framework, along with a
reporting and review cadence to deliver an integrated view of marketing
performance tied back to goals and revenue targets.
• Understand and report on marketplace trends and dynamics: market share vs.
competitors, key category trends, growth opportunities, etc.
• Develop an actionable road map for marketing measurement and consumer
insights, including a continuous improvement approach for accurate and timely
measurement of marketing programs
• Identify gaps in measurement tools and evaluate and onboard new vendors in
the space
• Develop, implement and optimize a marketing measurement framework tied to
operational KPIs that includes an in-depth analysis of all data sources and that
provides the necessary business context to translate what it all means
• Evolve an over-arching “narrative” for understanding data from all sources (past
research, secondary data, CRM data, and digital tracking) to develop & share out
multisource insights reports
• Shape the measurement and strategy for future markets
• Be a steward of best practices and innovations pertaining to marketing science
and analytics

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s Degree required
• 10+ years of experience in marketing measurement and insights for a large-scale
brand; 2+ years' experience in a leadership role driving large scale brand
strategies
• A keen interest in sport and media. Knowledge of the sports & gaming industry
is a plus, but not essential
• Experience with working with data management and technical teams, along with
ability to build effective relationships with key operational partners
• Experience with consumer insights methodologies and practices and ability to
scope and design consumer research as well as interpret and synthesize
research findings
• Expert knowledge of digital marketing performance principles and metrics as well
as analytics tools – Google Analytics, Marketo, AppsFlyer, marketing mix
models, etc.
• Exceptional troubleshooting skills and should thrive in high expectation scenario
with many stakeholders
• Manage, develop, and motivate the marketing measurement and insights team
• Exceptional communicator who inspires the team and can engage CxO level
audience on relevant topics in a time efficient manner
• Passion for innovation and ability to constantly reinvent and test new approaches
and new technologies
• Have energy and enthusiasm for a new challenge, and an ability to tackle
complex regulatory environment
• Are excited about the opportunity to grow a significant business in a new sector,
