Senior Stock Administrator

The Senior Stock Administrator will process option exercises, RSU releases and ESPP purchases for employees in multiple countries. This individual will monitor Five9’s internal stock communication mailbox and Slack channels answering equity questions and providing guidance to employees. They will provide assistance to the General Counsel when required during the Pre-Clearance process. They will provide support during Proxy preparation, year-end tax mailing, and any other departmental functions as required. This position reports to the Sr. Manager Global Equity.
When safe to return, this position will need to report to the Headquarters in San Ramon, CA. This is not a remote position.
Assist during processing of company’s RSU releases, option exercises, and ESPP purchases.
Prepare reconciliations of equity transactions
Provide timely guidance to employees on equity programs, processes, and policies via company’s internal communication platforms
Collaborate with HR on equity report requests, and process awards granted by the Board.
Partner with the company’s Legal Team in the pre-clearance process
Partner with the company’s dedicated broker team, internal auditors, Transfer Agent, and Payroll Dept.
Assist with Proxy preparation
Ability to multi-task and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
3-5 years equity experience in a publicly traded company
Thorough knowledge of equity instruments and applicable taxation.
Experience in the global arena is a plus.
Successful completion of Level I of CEP exam
Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, i.e. VLookUps, Pivot Tables
Self-motivated, detail-oriented team player with a strong work ethic and an ability to meet deadlines.
Experience on Shareworks preferred
Excellent verbal and written communications skills
