Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, employees, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.

We are seeking an experienced professional to join us to help develop and deliver a world class Business Process Management (BPM) capability to the Wells Fargo SEO office.
Group BPM Process Librarians are the first point of contact for the Business Group or Enterprise Function regarding process definition required practices, tool access, taxonomy, and support and information.  They also serve as the custodian of the process models and resident expert on the Enterprise Process Repository and the process definition standards.  They also coordinate/manage the process model change control process to ensure that the LOB process models stay current and up-to-date.
Organizationally, the Group Process Librarian must report to the Group BPM Capability Leader or a Group BPM Capability Manager.
High Level Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  •  Local Process Definition Expert and Support (tool, practices and standards) for the aligned business

o Process Modeling tool functional expert
o Will understand and become fluent on the process definition standards (modeling, architecture, object relationships)
o Will understand use of Risk Management module
o Will understand and become power user of all Enterprise Process Repository Platform modules
o Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) expert
o Knowledgeable of Taxonomy alignment
o Shares lessons learned and best practices with LOB users when appropriate
o Liaison with Enterprise librarian & other Group Librarians to promote Community of Practice

  • Local Custodian for Process Assets

o Partner with Enterprise Process Librarian to maintain repository and alignment with enterprise standards
o Ensure data integrity meets standards established for different object types and associated meta data
o Introduce new Objects that may be needed for approval by Enterprise BPM (EBPM)
o Review and rationalize obsolete data within the Enterprise Process Repository
o Drive remediation of defects for the line of business data
o Accountable for repository compliance Definition and Enforcement
o Provide requests to Enterprise Process Engineering for new reports
o Review and approve requests for configuring Enterprise Process Repository filters, templates and attributes for their LOB and submitting them to Enterprise  Librarian team

  •  Enterprise Program Alignment

o Ensure local business Process Definition Strategy is in line with overall Enterprise Process Definition Strategy
o Speak and provide requirements on behalf of LOB to EPE as related to Business Process Management
o Provide input for staffing levels in the Librarian role for a specific business unit based on the process inventory quantity and growing BPM needs

  • Help support the execution of the Enterprise Process Definition Delivery Process

o Become fluent on Process Definition Onboarding
o Perform Stakeholder mapping
o Identify the list of macro and micro services to be engaged to on-board line of business to the Enterprise Process Repository
o Identify Enterprise Process Repository requirements

  • Enterprise Process Repository User Access

o Will oversee access requests and ensure the appropriate resources are provided the correct access profile according to the security model
o Understand role based security models and align to business needs
o Assist with collection of Access Management needs
o Work with EBPM to provide access to the users within the respective LOB folder area

  • Incubation and Innovation

o Provide enhancement ideas and requirements to EBPM for needed BPM functionality
o Participate in business case proposals for new Enterprise Process Repository or BPM functionality
o Participate in Proof of Concepts (POC) for Enterprise Process Repository solutions
o Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) as needed




Required Qualifications

  • 6+ year of experience in one or a combination of the following: business support, project management, implementation, business operations or strategic planning in financial services demonstrated through work or military experience

Desired Qualifications

  • A BS/BA degree or higher in business or management
  • Financial services industry experience
  • Virtual leadership experience with ability to effectively drive results, provide feedback/direction, and manage and build relationships with leaders and team members in a geographically dispersed team environment
  • Ability to manage complex projects in a large enterprise environment
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
  • Highly refined and professional verbal and written communications
  • Knowledge and understanding of Business Process Management Notation (BPMN) methodology and modeling
  • Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong collaboration and partnering skills

Job Expectations

  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time

Salary Information

The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.

AZ-PHX-Central Phoenix: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
MN-Minneapolis: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
IA-West Des Moines: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
NC-Charlotte: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
GA-Atlanta: Min: $78,100 Mid: $110,000
