What Operations Management contributes to Cardinal Health Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Operations function. Job Summary This role resides in the US and reports into the Senior Director of ST and Global S&R. The role is directly responsible for the performance and oversite of the Sustainable Technologies Operations & Logistics related to Service & Repair existing and new setups, 3rd party material Collections and Blended Code kitting. As the leader of these processes, this person will drive optimal performance by working with a cross functional team as well as the 3rd party provider and distribution network. The Leader will pull together these teams on a frequent basis to collectively review metrics, and drive the key priorities listed below. Org Structure within the Center Led Organization reporting into this Leader Direct reporting of Collections organization, Supervisory, and analyst roles.
Accountabilities Operations Management is responsible for strategic oversight and leadership direction within the Operations function Managing all Customer facing aspects (includes Heritage/Hovertech contracts) Managing S&R through ST P&L and partnership with Finance to include standard reporting elements (FCST, R&O, KI, VIP, S&OP) Managing Heritage Collections team Managing NPWT & Thermometry operations within ST Managing DC B-Code kitting operation Supporting future expansion projects and globalization of S&R / Reprocessing including International opportunities. Interacts with subordinates, peer customers and suppliers at various management levels may interact with senior management Interactions normally involves resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects Provides leadership to managers and experienced professional staff; may also manage front line supervisors and/or business support staff Manages an organizational budget Develops and implements policies and procedures to achieve organizational goals Assists in the development of functional strategy Decisions have an extended impact on work processes, outcomes, and customers Persuades others into agreement in sensitive situations while maintaining positive relationships
Qualifications Bachelors degree or masters degree preferred OPEX Black Belt certification preferred 3-5 years of operations, financial and transactional information flow management experience with demonstrated knowledge of medical device Reprocessing and Service & Repair preferred. 3-5 years' experience of leading operational footprint through business excellence/continuous improvement (DMAIC) transformation methodology preferred. Understanding of Global Trade and Regulatory requirements and the ability to work with SMEs in this area to ensure compliance.
