Director, Marketing PTSD Launch Lead|
The PTSD Indication Launch Lead will lead the commercialization of a major new indication for a flagship brand in the U.S. market. The core responsibility of this role is to deliver a successful launch that results in significant contribution to overall brand growth and lead
commercial team members responsible for HCP/PME/Consumer marketing. This position will report to Senior Director/Brand Lead.
Overall strategic direction for the PTSD indication launch, execution, as well as managing performance post-launch
Work closely with Senior Director/Brand Lead and key members of the base business to integrate the strategy with the base indications to ensure the maximal success of overall business
Work closely on all strategic and tactical activities in close coordination and alignment with alliance partner
Lead relevant team members responsible for HCP/PME/Consumer marketing to oversee the development of the HCP/Consumer PTSD strategy, promotional plans, and campaigns and set the promotional direction for brand and sales
Collaborate with sales leadership to design sales force structure that supports successful indication launch and growth; provide a clear strategic
irection to the field
Lead other functional teams and strategic partners (e.g. agencies, alliance organizations) to ensure cooperation, shared responsibility in commercialization activities and ultimately in business performance
Work with business analytics and market research to identify key insights and track and manage brand performance
Oversee the development of pre-launch disease education/market-shaping initiatives across HCPs and consumers
Develop a business case for a Direct to consumer campaign, working in close coordination with base business consumer lead, and, if positive, work towards relevant activities to ensure successful OPDP clearance
MBA or other relevant graduate or post-graduate degree
10+ years in marketing and/or selling pharmaceutical products
Strong strategic skill sets including e
tiveness in identifying and addressing major strategic challenges (e.g., competition) and the ability to navigate complex market environments
Brand marketing experience, including identifying market and customer needs, building strategic and tactical plans and brand promotions
Demonstrated ability to lead matrix teams and deliver strong results
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Demonstrated business acumen
Ability to respond effectively to multiple priorities and tight timelines
Sense of urgency and adept at balancing short- and long-term priorities and manage multiple priorities effectively
Alliance partnership experience
Previous experience managing direct reports
Up to 20% travel is required*, based upon business needs.
* Currently no travel due to COVID-19
Prior experience with successfully launching a
