This position will work with the Youth Exchange admissions team to attain enrollment targets for The Experiment in International Livingís high school programs, including The Experiment Abroad and The Experiment Digital programs. This person will focus on these specific areas:
-Partners and partner students
-Enrollment for all Experiment summer abroad programs including but not limited to the Leadership Institute and The Experiment Digital
The Partnership Coordinator will work in conjunction with the Director of Enrollment Management and Partnerships to increase enrollment for all Experiment programs and manage the enrollment of The Experimentís Leadership Institute program as well as The Experiment Digital. This person will also be the primary point person for most of The Experimentís sponsoring organizations and partner schools and corresponding Experiment/World Learning departments (Philanthropy, Accounts Receivable, Operations, and Programs), and contribute to administering scholarships. This person will also manage enrollment for broader partnerships (e.g. The Fellowship Initiative (TFI), a program of JPMorgan Chase).
This person will also manage a pool of sponsored students, and corresponding events, school visits, parent information sessions within an assigned recruiting territory.
-Guide enrollment process for sponsored students: Use the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) tool in -Salesforce to manage and improve the overall admissions experience of all students, parents, and mentoring organization representatives. Track communications, goals, and create/edit reports in Salesforce with sponsored student enrollment data.
-Manage relationships, memoranda of understanding (MOUs), and communication with sponsoring organizations and sending schools. Track partnership data, including funding agreements, recruitment activities, and enrollment details using Salesforce campaigns and reports.
-Conduct recruitment events both online and in person. This will involve some travel: as many as 5 days per month during the 4-month recruiting cycle. Improve and strengthen existing partnerships.
-Coordinate sponsorship opportunities with World Learning Philanthropy to support both Philanthropyís existing funding relationships with donors and by actively seeking out new funding to strengthen The Experimentís partnership programs.
-Proactive and holistic student contact and conversion throughout the application, and predeparture processes using the Constituent Relationship Management (CRM) database, Salesforce. Advise prospective students and applicants about admissions policies and procedures.
-Pre-departure counseling: assist in the creation of pre-departure materials, disseminate information to students and parents, and assist students through the visa and other predeparture processes. Represent The Experiment at pre-departure orientations in person and online.
-Independently manage sponsored applicant pool:
-Meet goals for communicating with assigned inquiries and applicants via phone contact and email. Track all communications in the constituent relationship management database.
-Be able to speak knowledgeably about need-based and merit-based scholarship opportunities.
-Electronically record all contacts in the database and submit regular recruitment reports.
-In cooperation with department staff and others, evaluate previous recruitment efforts.
-Promote diversity in all recruitment and admissions efforts.
-Process student applications and implement enrollment processes, including but not limited to scholarship data entry and processing, review and acceptance of applications, and application fee/deposit processing.
-Serve as backup to other admissions counselors.
-Other responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management & Partnerships.
-Serve as a member of the summer on-call team:
-Trouble-shoot student incidents regarding issues such as medical review and program. participation, including the investigation, documentation, and advisement on special issues.
-Serve as a first point of response for all family, Experimenter, and leader issues and concerns.
-Offer professional and appropriate customer service support through phone and email communication.
-Escalate to the appropriate next level on the chain of command when applicable.
-Communicate with other staff when going on- and off-duty to make certain that ongoing incidents are transferred smoothly.
-Manage and complete incident data entry, ensuring consistency in reporting, tracking open cases for follow up, and archiving documentation.
-Complete all required documentation and distribute it appropriately within the expected time frame.
-Participate in the evaluation of the incident, if applicable.

-Contribute to an organizational culture of continuous learning through rigorous program monitoring, data tracking, donor and MERL reporting, research and reflection to ensure strong outcomes.
-Contribute to organizationís business development targets through ongoing program implementation, funder relationship building, and through other means as directed.
-A curiosity about World Learning as a whole, with the aim of being able to effectively represent the organization to external audiences commensurate with the position.
-Commitment to fostering diverse, equitable and inclusive practices in program implementation and monitoring practices and challenging practices which may be exclusionary.
-Bachelorís degree or equivalent experience in related field.
-A minimum of two years of recruiting, admissions, higher education experience. Experience in advising/counseling of students.
-Proven ability to work with diverse groups toward process improvements and changes.
-High level of comfort with technology and an interest in utilizing new technologies to increase efficiently.
-Excellent public relations, presenting, negotiating, and networking skills.
-Strong writing and communication skills
-Willingness and ability to travel.
-Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

-Experience with Salesforce and using a CRM system to reach admissions goals.
-Knowledge of a second language.
-Familiarity with Experiment programs.
-Social media and other marketing experience
