In this challenging, rewarding 10-week summer program working on the Securitized Products (SP) team, you develop your skills so you can influence tomorrow. Beginning with a one-day company orientation, you’ll spend one week in training and nine weeks as an integral part of the SP team. This position is part of our Investment Bank division, an industry leader in Securitized Products, driving the firm’s global success.
Over the course of this program, you continue to learn and develop through ongoing training, and hear from experienced senior employees from a variety of divisions in our summer speaker series. Mentorship opportunities help you identify your strengths and plan your career, while social activities, community service and networking events connect you with a range of people from across the firm. When you complete the program, you will have gained crucial experience in all areas of the Investment Bank division, and a firm understanding of how a global investment bank functions. Once you’ve seen the big picture, it’s time to paint your own.

The SP group at Credit Suisse is recognized as a leader in the industry and the integrated Banking, Sales and Trading platform provides you with a broad opportunity set from which to launch your career.
During your summer in SP, you’ll gain exposure to the Banking, Sales and Trading businesses. In Banking, you will be exposed to all stages of a new issue security transaction including pitching, structuring, negotiation, execution and closing. Banking covers many different asset types including autos, credit cards, student loans, aircraft, railcar, timeshare, triple-net lease, drug royalties, music royalties, insurance products, residential and commercial real estate mortgages, equipment, intellectual property, small business loans, etc. In Sales, you will work with buy-side accounts on new issue securities and general portfolio management of their accounts. In Trading, you will gain exposure and an understanding of risk across the different trading desks in RMBS, CMBS and ABS

SPRING is a training program for first and second year analysts to continue to explore their talents and skills, as generalists, before being dedicated to a specific desk in Banking, Sales or Trading.
