2023 Americas Investment Bank: Sales & Trading Summer Analyst Program
You bring the ambition and talent; we’ll open exciting new doors for you. Take the next step in your banking career with the Credit Suisse Summer Analyst Program. In this challenging, rewarding 10-week summer program working in the Sales & Trading team, you develop your skills so you can influence tomorrow. Beginning with a one-day company orientation, you’ll spend one week in training and nine weeks as an integral part of the Sales & Trading team. This position is part of our Investment Bank division, an industry leader in Sales & Trading, driving the firm’s global success.
Over the course of this program you continue to learn and develop through ongoing training, and hear from experienced senior employees from a variety of divisions in our summer speaker series. Mentorship opportunities help you identify your strengths and plan your career, while social activities, community service and networking events connect you with a range of people from across the firm. When you complete the program you will have gained crucial experience in all areas of the Investment Bank division, and a firm understanding of how a global investment bank functions. Once you’ve seen the big picture, it’s time to paint your own.
Start date: June 5, 2023
Duration: 10 weeks
Academic requirements: You should be graduating from a university in December 2023 or May/June 2024.

Your field of responsibility By rotating across Credit, Equities, and Global Trading Solutions, you will become familiar with the Sales and Trading arena as well as the overall investment process, gaining a broad and dynamic view of several potential career paths. You’ll complete various assignments for each desk, provide market commentary for colleagues, and present a final project during each rotation. Your future colleagues Our Equities business engages in a broad range of activities for clients. Activities include sales, trading, financing, prime brokerage services and market-making in global equity and equity-related securities, options, futures, risk management and hedging products. Our Credit business incorporates underwriting, research, and sales and trading of instruments which span the spectrum including government and corporate bonds, money markets, foreign exchange, real estate-related assets and derivative products. Our capabilities range from staging "plain vanilla" financings to delivering advice on liability management, structured finance, and hedging and derivatives. Our Global Trading Solutions business serves wealth management and institutional investors, delivering efficiently across several Credit Suisse divisions.
