About the role
We are looking for an addition to our team who is self-motivated and has previous electrical troubleshooting and customer-facing experience! This is a fully remote position that will be dispatched from home and may be located in the Harrisburg-Carlisle Metropolitan area near our highest concentration of customers. Several locations have been listed for marketing purposes but only one position is available
Travel up to 80% by car and plane. Overnight stays at any of our company approved hotels will average 4 nights/week. There will be occasional travel for training to our head location in Canada as well.
This role will provide service installation, PMs, commissioning, repair, troubleshooting, and inspection services for all Trojan Technologies equipment. On-site work includes electrical, mechanical, chemical, and product training to customer equipment operators as required. Training will include on the job mentorship through more senior service technicians. Solve customer problems by diagnoses of component, system failures, or process issues to isolate root causes and implement corrective actions
Manage customer service expectations, satisfaction, and relationships for the installations in the region
Establish and maintain excellent customer relationships by periodic visits, exploring specific needs, resolving problems, and establishing proactive service strategies
Submit completed service reports for all work completed in the field
Are you qualified?
3+ years experience in a technical role required; electrical diploma, degree, or trade certification is an asset
Proven troubleshooting, electrical diagnostics, repair, and preventative maintenance skills
Solid understanding of Allen Bradley PLC platform with demonstrated ability to upload/download and fix programs is preferred
Drivers License and clean driving record required
Valid Passport required
