Nobles Fellow - Spanish

Nobles seeks to hire a Nobles Fellow to teach one to two sections of Spanish. Designed as a one-year experience for early-career educators and recent college/university graduates, a Nobles Fellowship is a full-time position that runs from late August through early June. Compensation is provided to Fellows on a twelve-month basis and includes a salary plus health and dental insurance. Campus housing is often a part of the compensation package. A Bachelor’s degree is required; experience working with young people as a mentor, camp counselor, tutor, etc. is preferred.
As a Teaching Fellow, you will work closely with a mentor teacher and become fully immersed in the modern language department. The cohort of Nobles Fellows meet regularly to partake in professional development and are encouraged to take advantage of professional development opportunities outside of Nobles as well.
All Nobles Fellows also coach and mentor students in all three seasons of our afternoon program, which consists of athletics, community service, and the arts. On-campus Fellows participate in our residential program. We search for Fellows who are hard working, looking to explore the world of education, and willing to step up to take on initiatives and responsibilities for the school as needed. This opportunity affords early-career educators with the ability to acquire an experience with, and an understanding of, many facets of school life.
