Project Manager, Research Support
The Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center has an exciting opportunity for a Full-Time Project Manager, Research Support to work on the UHealth Campus. The Project Manager, Research Support coordinates and leads efforts in a variety of research activities that are complex and wide in scope. Moreover, the Project Manager, Research Support operates with the goal of ensuring that the collection of data and administration of studies are performed efficiently and in compliance with applicable guidelines.
Manages grant submission processes working with faculty to submission to sponsored programs.
Incorporates timelines and deadlines into project plans for successful grant submissions.
Provides quality assurance for sponsored and non-sponsored funded projects.
Manages tight grant timelines ensuring quick turnaround for successful submission.
Partner with multiple department and sub-divisions within SCCC (finance, research, IT, grants, patient care etc.).
Manages and coordinates agendas, meetings, and workflows for incoming grant submissions.
Facilitate communication and serve as resource to cancer center faculty and sponsored programs to ensure successful completion and submission of core grants and renewals.
Manage performance monitoring and metrics for initiatives and other projects as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field required
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience
Skill in collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
Ability to exercise sound judgment in making critical decisions.
