Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) Teacher with the Special Education Department
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university.
Valid Michigan teaching certificate; appropriate states special education teacher endorsement – Autism Spectrum Disorder ASD (SV).
Experience working with students at the elementary and secondary level.
Basic understanding and working knowledge of the Individualized Education Program (IEP) team process and curriculum for students with Autism.
Ability to physically care for students with Autism.
Develop and implement effective behavior intervention plans.
Demonstrated ability to work effectively with students, parents, and staff.
