Integrated Evidence Team Leader (IETL) Infectious Disease (ID): The IETL ID leads a matrixed, cross functional team that has responsibility to understand the US healthcare environment and the various stakeholders relevant to the ID therapeutic area (HIV, Respiratory Infections, with later on an expansion to HBV), identify gaps in the evidence and knowledge needed to support the franchise’s stakeholder-focused value propositions, prioritize and integrate evidence generation activities from across research groups (e.g., Medical Affairs, HECOR, RWE, epidemiology), and maintain a current, strategically aligned integrated evidence generation plan. The IETL will also create a strategically aligned scientific communication plan and work with appropriate cross-functional partners to maintain an integrated communication plan. In addition, the IETL will lead the US KOL engagement plan for the ID Franchise, in collaboration with our US commercial partners, and participate in on an ad-hoc basis to US Medical Affairs related projects. Major Responsibilities: - Lead a matrixed, cross functional team that has responsibility to understand the US healthcare environment and the various stakeholders relevant to the ID therapeutic area, identify gaps in the evidence and knowledge needed to support the franchise’s stakeholder-focused value propositions.
- Prioritize and integrate evidence generation activities from across research groups (e.g., Medical Affairs, HECOR, RWE, epidemiology), and maintain a current, strategically aligned integrated evidence generation plan (IEGP).
- Lead the KOL engagement plan for the ID Franchise, with a focus on HIV and Respiratory Infections; and expansion of activities to HBV later on & support on an ad-hoc basis US Medical Affairs related projects
- Ability to provide direction and leadership to a cross functional team to synthesize the evidence and information into relevant and actionable knowledge, and develop a strategic publication and communication plan, in collaboration with the Medical Communication Lead, and H&E partners, directed to a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency to analyze, evaluate, and integrate large amounts of data from multiple sources.
Qualifications
Knowledge and Experience Requirements: - Requires a MD/DO, PhD or PharmD
- Minimum 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical/Biotechnology industry.
- Must be a highly motivated, organized, self-starter with a demonstrated track record of leadership and achievement.
- Knowledge of Medical Affairs is preferred
- Knowledge of the Infectious Disease therapeutic area is preferred
- Experience in scientific writing and publication or communication strategy is a plus.
- Experience with data analysis and evidence generation is a plus.

Working Conditions: - Works onsite at Titusville New Jersey site
- 15% travel requirements (to support the US Medical Affairs Team with infrequent global travel)
