As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

The Digital Marketing & Sales Experience CoE is a global team, accountable for supporting the network to realize full value from the firm’s investment in Salesforce. The team uses insight and analytics to understand ways of working and drives consistent marketing and sales best practices to support enablement and adoption of the CRM technologies. Also leads enhancements and innovations of the existing technologies to deliver business led platform expansion as determined by future investments.

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader, emphasizing the following: 

  • Developing business strategy to plan, prioritize and execute programmes over the long term in line with global business priorities; 
  • Leading the development, governance and execution of innovative solutions and platform expansion while balancing business demand, capacity, risk and budget (ideally for Salesforce in a professional services environment);
  • Presenting to global governance forums confidently to drive innovation around the go-to-market strategy, translating complex matters to non-specialists in a clear and compelling way; 
  • Understanding of the Salesforce platform ecosystem and a track record for leveraging the platform to drive leading sales and marketing practice across a global network;
  • Understanding of how to leverage a 360-degree customer view to drive leading sales and marketing practices;
  • Using enhanced knowledge of emerging technologies (including, but not limited to the Salesforce platform) and a curious mindset, focused on driving innovation and platform expansion that brings direct value to the business (ideally in professional services environment);
  • Using enhanced understanding of client and user experience to drive adoption of new ways of working, ideally for Salesforce in a professional services environment;
  • Using enhanced understanding of the sales process and business development, ideally in a B2B context;
  • Managing relationships with external vendors and contractors to build and deploy platform enhancements, functions and features across a global network;
  • Acting as a strategic advisor to senior leaders and working with the business to influence how the practice innovates and engages with the marketplace to drive relevance, distinctiveness and growth;
  • Building and managing relationships across a global network with senior leadership, including effectively managing a matrixed organization;
  • Liaising, influencing (without authority), challenging effectively and building relationships at the leadership, senior management, peer group and team level;
  • Proactively identifying and solving problems, and seeking ways to drive improvements and efficiencies with an innovation and efficiency mindset;
  • Driving difficult conversations with senior business stakeholders and being confident in saying no (and providing alternatives or guidance) to all levels of the organization when necessary by relating strategy to difficult decisions;
  • Using proven ability to proactively identify, manage and resolve conflict and issues on complex and/or high-profile projects, while working in a politically sensitive environment;
  • Leading and coaching teams to support professional development and delivery of quality work outcomes;
  • Navigating complex situations while applying firm policies and procedures to enable compliance across the network;
  • Using enhanced project management and organization skills and the ability to operate effectively within a complex matrix environment;
  • Demonstrating expertise across marketing and sales capabilities, including sales, marketing, brand and integrated content in a B2B context;
  • Managing marketing budget and resource planning;
  • Using enhanced data analysis skills for monitoring and reporting on the success of adoption and effectiveness of new features; 
  • Leading a team successfully through a cultural change and development of new skills/ knowledge; and,
  • Managing innovation, voice of the customer programmes in the sales & marketing space.
