Here's your opportunity to be a transformational leader as the East Coast Distribution Director to drive process improvement and automation while developing a versatile team. In this role, you will manage daily operations for two of Schneider Electric’s largest global Distribution Centers in a combined 1M Sq. Ft of warehouse space and lead an employee base of 500 indirectly. You will have the opportunity to own strong stakeholder engagement with Schneider Electric's Global Supply Chain teams in Transportation, End to End Control Tower, and Supply Chain Planning. The two Distribution Centers are located in Mechanicsburg, PA and Middletown, PA.
What will you do?
- Manage a team comprised of Operations, Logistics Engineering, Customer Satisfaction & Quality, Safety
- Validate Warehouse capacity planning in alignment with Sales, Inventory, Operations Planning teams
- Drive people engagement, focused on a diverse and inclusive team environment
- Support Safety and Environment initiatives through actions and resourcing
- Manage DC operations to achieve the Key Performance Indicators (KPI) targets through action plans and regular reviews
- Build strong local logistics competencies in the local team to drive innovation and agility
What qualifications will make you successful?
- 8+ Years of progressive experience in Operations, Supply Chain and Logistics
- Warehouse experience utilizing digital technologies and innovation
- Strong people manager and talent developer
