POSITION SUMMARY This position will report to the Sr. Manager Global Procurement and will be in Loveland, CO (hybrid). Workflow / Individual Work: Predominant work to be performed of a formative nature: -Supplier management with emphasis on: supplier selection, -development, change and cost management as well as risk management. -Analysis of procurement markets based on trade show and supplier visits and technical documentation. Interpretation of business challenge and knowledge of best practices to improve processes, products and services. -Develop purchasing strategies for assigned material group with the goal of improving purchasing related KPI's. -Plan and execute challenging projects and participate in cross-functional teams. -Execute material relocations/supplier changes to new suppliers with support from R&D, Quality and Production. -Evaluate supplier suitability for manufacturing and supply of parts, assemblies and services. -Improving supplier quality/performing supplier audits. -Controlling supplier performance and actively managing it. -Execution of difficult purchasing processes such as quality, price and deadline negotiations. -Contact person to the supplier in German and/or English. -Preparation of contract negotiation and agreements within the framework of the contract strategy. -DBS & Other Active participation in the improvement of processes through the application of DBS tools. - Other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor Job description for employees covered by collective bargaining agreements. - Negotiates favorable terms, volume discounts and long-term contracts with suppliers, and prepares and processes requisitions and purchase orders for the procurement of goods, services and supplies for customer-related business processes or for internal use. -Conducts full development life cycle, including interviews of users, development of requirements Education, Background and Skill Requirements - Bachelors degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical engineering
- 5-7 years experience in similar positions
- Ability to build strong working relationships across all levels of the organization including remote locations.
- Advanced knowledge/experience in MS-Office and ERP-Systems
- Detailed knowledge and experience within the field of OEM & Resale Procurement and its interfaces
- Experienced in Project Management and Supplier audits

PRE-EMPLOYMENT TESTING External hiring into this position is contingent upon the successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen and background check and possible credit history review. The hourly rate or salary range for this role is $90,000 - $100,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Colorado. This range may be modified in the future.
