Position Summary
Provide a warm, friendly greeting to guests to make them feel welcome. Provide table accommodations and offer menu recommendations. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Essential Job Functions Greet guests as they enter and exit the restaurantAccurately manage the wait listEscort guests to their seats, accounting for any special seating needsMaintain cleanliness of work area throughout the shiftPerform opening and closing dutiesComply with federal, state, local and company food safety guidelines, food handling guidelines and rules governing sanitation and the cleanliness/maintenance of kitchen/dining room areasMaintain a professional demeanor, ensuring uniform and personal appearance are presentable and reflective of the company brandCommunicate any safety or guest concerns to manager as appropriateProfessionally answer telephone and direct callsMaintain good working relationships with coworkers, managers and guestsCoordinate with and assist fellow associates to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurantAttend scheduled associate meetings and offer suggestions for improvementMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team and guestsAbility to work in a standing position for an entire shiftAbility to lift objects up to 25 poundsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster cooperation and work in a collaborative team environmentDesired Previous Experience/Education 6 months server experienceEducation Level: None
