Position Summary
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards for glassware, tableware, pots, pans, and cooking equipment using machine and manual cleaning methods. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion and safety. Essential Job Functions Wash dishes, glassware, flatware, utensils, pots and pans and stock cleaned items in appropriate locationsCheck in deliveries and store product according to proper proceduresMaintain adequate levels of clean tableware for dining room and kitchenClean and sanitize service area and kitchen throughout shiftSweep and mop kitchen and line floorsMaintain adequate levels of dish detergents and cleaning suppliesMaintain work area by cleaning up spills to ensure kitchen floors remain dryConduct general restaurant and restroom cleaningSafely operate and maintain dishwasher; report needed equipment maintenance to supervisorHandle tableware carefully to prevent breakage and lossAssist with prep work and chef tasksMaintain good working relationships with coworkers, managers and guestsCoordinate with and assist fellow associates in meeting guests' needs and supporting the operation of the restaurantAttend scheduled associate meetings and offer suggestions for improvementMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications Ability to work in a hot, wet, and loud environment for long periods of timeAbility to work in a standing position for an entire shiftAbility to lift heavy dishes, pots and pans (up to 50 pounds)Ability to communicate professionally with team and guestsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a collaborative team environmentDesired Previous Experience/Education 6 months dishwasher experience in a high volume kitchenEducation Level: None
