Position Summary
Take all food orders and efficiently serve food and drinks while creating an overall enjoyable dining experience and promoting a clean, safe and inviting environment for guests. Essential Job Functions Provide a warm, friendly greeting and service to all guests for the duration of their visitProvide menus and answer questions about the menu optionsCommunicate regularly with guests throughout their visit to ensure their needs are metAnticipate guests' needs and provide prompt serviceRemove used tableware between coursesPerform opening and closing dutiesComply with federal, state, local and company food safety guidelines, food handling guidelines and rules governing sanitation and the cleanliness/maintenance of kitchen/dining room areasMaintain a professional demeanor, ensuring uniform and personal appearance is presentable and reflective of the company brandMaintain contact with kitchen staff, management, serving staff and guests to ensure that dining details are handled properly and guests' concerns are addressedMaintain good working relationships with coworkers, managers and guestsCoordinate with and assist fellow associates to meet guests' needs and support the operation of the restaurantAttend scheduled associate meetings and offer suggestions for improvementMust be able to perform the essential job functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodationMinimum Position Qualifications Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with team and guestsAbility to work in a standing or walking position for an entire shiftAbility to regularly lift and/or move objects up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 25 poundsStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to foster cooperation and work in a collaborative team environmentDesired Previous Experience/Education 1 year restaurant server experienceEducation Level: None
