POSITION SUMMARY: The Distribution Wave Planner coordinates the smooth release of work to the Distribution Center and problem solves work that does not correctly release to the Distribution Center and is a primary point of contact for customer service and planning for the Distribution Center This position is an integral part of the distribution team and located in Romeoville, IL. You will report to the Traffic and Dock Area Manager SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday and Weekends as needed TYPE OF ROLE: Onsite KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Release work according to schedule to meet customer delivery expectations
- Trouble shoot work that does not release properly
- Manage a shared mailbox and provide timely and accurate responses
- Partner with distribution leads and area managers to determine work needs

QUALIFICATIONS: - Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business or equivalent combination of education and related work experience.
- Worked as an analyst or planner for 1+ years
- Strong investigative and problem-solving skills
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access experience
- Data analytics skills
- Experience with WMS and/or TMS a plus
- Experience with Oracle a plus
