This position is accountable for the promotion and sale of a broad range of technical products/solutions/services under the direction of the Area Sales Manager. Develops new sales opportunities / accounts and addresses and services the needs of established accounts. Utilizes excellent products/solutions/services and customer knowledge to educate customers on pricing and application advantages, and how they meet customer's needs. Here is a basic rundown of the position:
- Lead Schneider Electric US Partner sales at defined Key Accounts
- Develops new sales opportunities pipeline in existing accounts. Perform developmental activities to target new competitive large accounts.
- Work closely with end users on strategic and large opportunities.
- Sell Square D’s Power Distribution equipment and software solutions to end users and contractors.
- Collaborate with Schneider Electric Services and Digital Power teams to drive end user engagement and opportunities for growth.
- Drive account penetration to get deeper with end users
- Work closely with area Partner sales and commercial operations team
- Consult with end users, specifiers, and contractors to bring complex, cutting-edge solutions to market.
- Become a trusted advisor with clients in several market segments to influence and guide the design of their electrical distribution system.
- Freedom and flexibility to drive sales and create solutions necessary for your market to succeed.
This job might be for you if:
- A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering or Technology combined with 3+ years of relevant experience. Other near equivalent education and experience will be considered.
- Experience with End Customer solution selling and/or delivery of complex projects in the electrical industry.
- Experience with electrical distribution and/or automation equipment such as switchgear, programmable logic controllers, human machine interfaces, and SCADA systems.
- Comfortable with Demand Creation and New Customer Acquisition selling.
- Developed interpersonal skills with an ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers of various technical abilities to develop solutions actively and creatively.
- Ability to work and contribute as an effective team player in a fast-paced deadline driven environment.
- Ability to self-manage, multi-task, and learn new skills quickly.
- Outstanding consultative selling abilities
- Established contact and relationships with potential customers and partners
- Effective time management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and spoken
- Travel up to 25%.
