Self Preservation (The First Law of Nature)
There are two distinct definitions to the term ‘self preservation’; they are 1) protection of oneself from harm or destruction and 2) the instinct for individual preservation; the innate desire to stay alive. It is basically referred to as ‘taking care of you’. The question that I’m raising is ‘why haven’t you done a better job of taken care of yourself.
Some facts to consider are as following:
Physically, an abundance of folk (especially Blacks in America) are in poor health.
Mentally, the minds of so many people have been exposed to so much garbage that the mind can’t distinguish what is healthy and what is not healthy.
Emotionally, the result of the types of life styles that have influence the way we live and carry ourselves and how we feel toward ourselves has left many of us emotionalist.
Spiritually we’ve been reading the wrong ‘bible’.
Our physical problems can be easily solved by eating a proper diet, exercising on regular bases, and getting the proper amount of slept daily.
Our mental issues can be dealt with by being extra careful of the types of information we allow to influence our minds. That of course includes the results of television, the movies, certain types of music, and of course the ‘types of people we hang around’.
Emotional issues can easily be solved by the avoidance of the types of relationship we involve ourselves in that doesn’t fit who we’re made up to be.
Spiritual issues can basically be solved by reading the right ‘bible’. Scriptures tells us to ‘study to show ourselves approved…’ The ability to study (reading, contemplating, and preying [be wise as a serpent]….) is naturally given to us by God but poorly utilized by ourselves. There are so many bibles that are not being read and or studied. For an example there is the ‘science bible’ that explains so much about the life and lives around us. There is the ‘English bible’ that creates avenues for which our minds can travel around the world while our bodies stay in one place. The English bible even paints a way for us to be able to write, speak, and generally express those powerful thoughts that are embedded in our hearts and souls. The ‘cooking bible’ teach us how to properly prepare the foods that God’s has placed around us with the specific design to go into us.
Then of course there is the Holy Bible (the word bible means BOOK, the word Holy means set apart from all others…Holy Bible means the book of all books… the one that is like no other. The book when it is used properly becomes the road map that takes us through a journey called life and in it we find eternal life. That’s the particular book that talks about a Chef named Jesus the Christ(YAHUSHUA MASHIA). His life is a living book and when you study the life of this Black man who has a Rainbow Personality, He has the ability to change your life completely, even in ways unimaginable. He leads the way to ‘physical, emotional, mental’ health.
You are quite a lot of a person; you have been given a lot; you are able to do a lot; and for those reasons alone you must preserve who you are and what you are made up of. You are very special and don’t ever let anyone tell you differently.
Just a special note to you, allow me to say that I love you so much and you can’t do a thing about it. Those are my thoughts about you and they are ‘well preserved thoughts’ so take better care of yourself.
