http://www.sonofthesouth.net/slavery/slave... I found a web site while researching for a story I am writing and this web site is a memorial, in that, it tells the story of American slaves. I was able to see some of their pictures and read real newspapers from that era. It's hard, not to harbor contempt toward anyone who might have profited or benefitted from their condition, pain and enslavement. I may even say, that despite my own logic, I secretly feel a bit of hatred, for the people who executed these crimes, and hope there was a special place in hell waiting for them when they died. I have never wished harm on a soul a day in my life. I know there is a God. Slavery was a work of evil.
