Granted there are people that did not like the show for whatever reasons and everyone has their choice for entertainment. I am a die hard fan of the show, just like I enjoyed Girlfriends (which after 8yrs, numerous awards, the reason the CW was even put on the map and not even the decency of a finale) I started boycotting the station and only turned to it to watch Everybody Hates Chris (only to give the show ratings, hey those actors need jobs too, which was also canceled) and now this.
There will be people that will try to justify the move by saying " It had low ratings" I ask well what do you expect when the station does the following:
1. Constantly moving the shows day and time around to the point that one does not know when it is going air.
2. Absolutely no promotion of the show at all.
3. The most fatal of them all: Moving it to a Friday (Death of a show day)
Everybody in the entertainment world knows the when a show is moved to a Friday( a night when most people are not home watching tv) it is being set-up for failure and will eventually be canceled.
If the information provided on the website: Entertainment Weekly is accurate, then yes fellow fans the show has been canceled (guess they thought given up an hour long finale was suppose to the least they could do)
If you click the link
http://ausiellofiles.ew.com/2009/04/fall-t... and peruse down the list for all of the networks you will notice one common theme, none of the shows listed have an all black cast ( these actors need jobs also, including the writers of the shows and everybody else that is involved in the production of such)
I for one is truly disgusted by the move and the trend, in fact when was the last time you even seen a person of color or any minority for that fact as " The Bachelor or The Bachelorette" NEVER. That mess on VH1 does not count.
