For the wealthy among you, this may be boring reading. Even so, I encourage you to read this “economic refresher.” For the others, I hope this is knowledge that you will share with your friends in all the “kitchen table conversations” that are going on around the Health Care Reform proposals. This is just good basic economics information to overcome the scare tactics that are often used.
So, often the political rhetoric we are exposed to distracts us from the economic slight-of-hand that is going on right before our eyes. If we don’t understand the underlying economics, then we will be duped into acting against our self-interests.
Please read this carefully, and share with your friends who aren’t wealthy – especially those who are concerned about the tax increases on the table as a way to pay for the Health Care Reform proposed by President Obama. More importantly, I would like to receive your feedback about your perspective on this economic observation.
